Suunto 7 pairing with iPhone 13plus

I own a suunto7 which is paired with an iPhone 6s Plus. Now I bought an iPhone 13pro and I am unable to connect the watch with the phone. Any help? Thanks in advance!

@p3079 Have you reset the watch? This is a required procedure when connecting to a new phone.

@aeroild thank you very much for the reply. No I haven’t reset the watch. I have seen that I have to reset the watch to factory settings. But this means that I will loose all the data and I must do all the systems upgrade from the beginning? It’s not possible to synchronise the watch with two devices?

@p3079 No it is not, you need to reset and pair to the new phone.

@p3079 when you reset you do not lose the updates you have done, you just lose any data etc on the watch - so make sure that you sync prior to doing this step.
Once you have done it, you will have pair the watch to your new phone, which will initiate the whole set up process again. If you have correctly set yourself up most if not all your details should be backed up and should come through when your set up.
All you should need to do is install any apps that you previously installed and want to keep on the watch.
