@Spree I confirm this. I’m testing this new firmware with S9 (non-baro). It works perfectly fine with S9 and I haven’t had any crash/reboot since I installed it (6 days ago)…

    SV: fingers crossed :D
S9 (non-baro): died after 2 months, replaced, holding strong since 03/20
Spartan Trainer: casing broke after 23 months, repaired, lost watertightness 5 months later, died
Despite some pretty bad luck, I still love Suunto!

@zhang965 Yes it can. It works just fine, simply doesn’t use the “baro” based stuff.

      Great news good to know

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Hello! This is the same for S9 (non baro). I have a friend with this model that on the weekend reported me that have random reboots in middle of an activity in the last weeks. Thank you!

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Is it usable with s9p ? Experienced reboots since I started using guides excessively recently.

@Andi-Buzer that zip is for S9, S9P needs a different kind of link because the firmware is loaded via the app.

Two weeks since I’ve installed the firmware with the fix. So far so good…

You should download it manually and drop it manually in Suunto link, the firmware can be found in above discussion

Just stumbled upon yet another minor inconvenience with the fix firmware (S9B). After stopping the activity there’s the green circle going around while saving is in progress. My animated circle just got stuck and remained that way for a minute or two. I pressed random buttons and suddenly it kept going and the save succeeded. Anyone else had this same symptom?

@BrunoH it hasn’t been until now.
It counts very few steps for me during activity. half of the fair value.
I have noticed this error so far.
