@Egika whenever I see things like this I can’t believe that we’ve landed on the moon and got back. In the 60. Flying on a wooden table. A few times.

Also, which one of the elements is the goddamn buzzer so I know which one to hate?

@jthomi I read here https://www.montre-cardio-gps.fr/test-suunto-9-peak-pro-la-pierre-angulaire-quil-fallait-a-suunto-enfin/ (in French) that it was a water detector (electrodes) used to start the depth gauge.

What @aroo7 said is the truth. Those are connecting ports that are used by Suunto customer service to fix your watch if it’s bricked and you send it to repair. You know, there is no other way than Bluetooth to communicate with the watch, so if you brick you watch service needs a way to fix it, e.g. reupload the firmware, without Bluetooth working.

@tuxella this is what I personally heard from Suunto employees, so I trust this as the truth.

I wish there would be a hacker community around smartwatches. If it’s a JTAG port, there might be fun things to do with this port.
