speculations and rumours about upcoming Suunto watches

@mikekoski490 This microfiber strap looks very good. How does it feel during activity? I mean, does it come less tight? When you wash it does it take long to dry?
-
Cool! Hope I can buy the neon band for my S9P
-
@Highlands I only use that. Not the best for OHR (I use belt or dont care) and drys a bit slow. But its the best feeling in the world tbh.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Your words reflect my expectations. I’ll have to buy one black microfiber for my all black.
-
@Highlands I was surprised by how well it works. I thought it would be more looks over function, but its exceeded my expectations for both. It does not expand during activity, and it doesn’t stretch even when wet. It dries quickly too.

@altcmd
honestly, why not? but my x-alps was still in mint condition when peak and pro were released and I was not born rich… and I am still not richFrench people think that swiss ones are all rich, aren’t you?
-
@Mff73
this could lead to a very inspiring and philosophical discussion
let’s put it that way: we live and enjoy, but we are far away from being “rich” -
@isazi i would say yes, this is dropbox of 5krunner, Vertical is tested on 26.04.

Here it is Suunto Vertical 2023
-
@Set_218 this is all long known to the ones who wanted to know. Official even is around the corner anyways,
-
@sartoric I’d guess that text says “Rotary Mode” and may be a way of interfacing (zooming?) the map.
-
Few more days, few more days… Enjoy the weekend!
-
@jasoncuddy
To me it looks more like “Battery mode” -
@sartoric You know what, that makes a lot more sense.
-
So since we are speculating what do you think the internal memory will be? Will it fit more regions if maps are supported?
-
@Hristijan-Petreski good question…probably large enough for further evolutions !
I was wondering : and if map were also added to S9pp afterall ??
The range would be awesome :- big screen with maps => new watch to come
- big screen without maps => S9b
- small screen with maps => S9pp
- small screen without maps => S9p
That would explain why « new » S9b was recently added (black titanium version) ?
This is pure speculation indeed !
-
@Tieutieu unfortunately S9PP does not have enough memory to store maps
-
@isazi if maps are the only difference and other functions are the same, that would be great.
