speculations and rumours about upcoming Suunto watches
-
@Mi_chael I had no idea that price is already known.
-
Like little kids making trouble and parents keep telling dont do this, dont do that but kids dont listen But I understand rules, it is bussiness strategy and it involves Suunto staffās effort and knowledge. I also think most people are happy for Suunto brand for bringing something new to the market and sharing leaks and speculating are part of excitement before the release. No harm is meant on purpose.

So the rule is: no leaks. No pictures, no names, no links, just discuss what you look for in a new watch, what you donāt want, what you expect.
This really sounds like you are ashmed about the photo and the nameā¦
-
Will various models/versions and colors be presented?
For example, one model/version with maps, other model withoutā¦And, what will be the price range? Assuming current prices of S9PP, S9P ans S9B, new Suunto would be in FĆ©nix 7, discounted Epix and Apex Pro 2 price range so competence will be high.
-
@el2thek I know, in the past only pictures were deleted, but letās just be positive. If Suunto is going to release a new watch, you all know users of this forum are going to get first hand reviews on release day.
-
@isazi What I would like is to maybe replace Garminās firstbeat with Polarās (as Casio did). I would like in-house but if that is to high cost to support I would look into replacing the only place Sunnto is a bit off at least for me (the fitness analysis such as resources, sleepā¦).
-
@Hristijan-Petreski Suunto is working on this, at least in the app. You can already see that the Suunto Coach is built on non Firstbeat technology.
Iām sure some users have seen surveys describing ideas on how the Coach may work in the future.
-
@isazi Indeed and thatās great. Really exited to where Suunto is headed
-
Iām hoping there are some tech bloggers (DC Rainmaker/Desfit/Chase the Summit) already using the new Suunto, and assume they are on embargo agreements. Hopefully, reviews will be out at launch to help make a quick decision.
-
What did you saw?
-
could you let some leaks in the forum undeleted a little longer please, i am not able to see any of them ā¦
i am ok you delete them, but what is a leak if it has not enough time to wet everythingjoke mode
-
@Mff73 Completely agree with you, I havenāt seen anything yet!! I check the forum regularly but I didnāt catch anything yet!
If somebody is keen to help they can send me a picture in a PM
-
@cosme-costa @Mff73 Iām with you guys. exactly the same feeling. few hours old post deleted and I know nothing. PM please
-
@dombo Also in the club
-
Iāve seen but been to stupid to not take any screenshotā¦
All I guess is that next watch to come wonāt necessary be my next one !
I am so pleased with my S9Bā¦but wait for only few things to change it :- better GPS precision (a friend uses a fenix 7 and his tracks are always smoother et more precise than mine). Compared to my old A3P, the thing I miss the most is a precise and reactive instant pace/speed. Multiband should help.
- better screen and size, with suunto legendary robustness, design, et ergonomy !
- Better autonomy
- using more than one App, and possibility to launch an app durign an exercice (safe and weather for instanceā¦)
- wrist power (as it is already available on S9PPā¦no question on that)
- maps (but not my first wish) ?!
My bet is that Suunto wonāt do less than that on their next flagship ! I donāt need more !
[edit] And I forgot : a 24mm strap so I could re-use my whole strap collection !!
-
@Kosta Iāve seen a picture but donāt want to share it because the user who send it to me is no longer part of the forum.
-
@Mitch9 I have also seen a photo but I will not share it because for me it would be disrespectful to the dedication of the people of Suunto. So I can only offer my limited opinion based on a picture and my āno spoilerā attitude

Please, no
-
@Tieutieu largely concur but some like gps accuracy is already good with S9PP. But a slightly larger display with ability to run more than 2 apps at the same time would be a neat certain purchase for me. Maps are nice to have but not a deal breaker.

Just to reassure you no user has ever been deleted by moderators/admins.
But you can self destroy yourself.
