Battery drain

Adding my experience with Vertical solar as sounds similar.
Charged to 100% 4-5 days ago, didnāt wear until today but it was fully discharged.
Sound like a theme with being off wrist. Have noticed OHR seems to be on a lot when not on wrist. -
@em632 Iāve noticed the OHR is always measuring even off wrist, execpt if the strap is folded and in contact with the sensor.
Otherwise if the sensor is in contact with a table it stays measuring.

@e6321 doubt the two things are related. Even if OHR is always on, your watch should last weeks in a drawer, not 4-5 days. So, something else kept burning battery. Now it could be that after it completely discharged itāll work fine, but if it does not, send logs and PM me.

@isazi sorry Im sure this has been asked a million times but I cant see anything searching the forum - how do I send logs?
Yeah agree about the OHR have noticed the blood oxygen LED is on sometimes off wrist as well, that is a bigger power draw I think?
My battery jumped from 96% to 100% today, wasnāt even that sunnyā¦ Theres a few odd things about this watch.

@Ollipolli the year 2023 has a lot of weeks, now 5 monthā¦dont know when the next firmware will come. Same answers i get many times hereā¦ Noone knows itā¦ Wait for it, hope too for coming outā¦

hello community,
I am loosing 4 % a day without activity. no backlight, basically with all battery tips i have learned so far in the last 4 months. Do you think it is ānormalā, i thought it was more arount 2% . I have the solar version.

@Antoine-Lancrenon My SV solar loses 1-2% a day when I donāt record an activity. So 4% looks like too much.
Have you enabled 24/7 HR or something?

@Antoine-Lancrenon charged on Monday night to 96%, now at 78% so im about 4% per day, just one short run this week.
Tbh Im not totally convinced by the battery percentage, I wouldnāt pay attention to how much your losing per day, sometimes it goes up! -

I have only seen this between 96% and 100%.
Fun fact about the solar version:
At the moment I am on a holiday in a very sunny location. Charged the watch to 100% on Monday. Recorded a couple of hours of activities and the watch still has 95% of battery left today. -
The only thing I use is the HR 24. may be this this the reason why I am more around 4% drain a day instead of 2 or 1?
I have seen the watch goes up, but it is rare and always when the watch is almost full >90% . The solar is more optimisation of battery usage, not a charger directly, even if it comes to charge little bit at some point like mention in this thread.

Ragazzi ciao a tutti,ho notato una cosa strana,metto in carica il mio Suunto vertical titanium solar e non arriva al 100%,la carica si ferma al 99%, devo fare stacca e attacca un paio di volte il carica batteria o addirittura un software reset affinchĆ© arrivi al 100% ma dopo 1 minuto che lo stacco dal caricabatteria scala subito al 99%,stranissima come cosaā¦qualcuno ha avuto lo stesso problema?

Canāt say I ever noticed much by way of the solar, that is until today. Charged it to full yesterday morning then ran this morning for 2 hours using maps, which took it down to 97%
This afternoon Iād been driving for an hour and a half with the sunlight hitting it and it went back up to 100%, and five hours later itās still saying 100%. Impressive!
