      @sartoric Be careful when placing your watch on any surface because, depending on the strap, the optical sensor might be activated due to the strap’s reflection…
      This doesn’t happen to me with the black silicone strap, but it does with the others, including the Velcro ones.
      And the optical sensor looking for heart rate is very battery consuming.

          I have the loop strap so it’s almost always behind the sensor

          I have the same experience with race s. I always put it face down, no issues yet.

              Another crazy drain whilst leaving the watch with hr off in the drawer . 40% drop in 2 days . I sent the logs right now in case anyone finds anything interesting

                    same here on my vertical solar, lost 45% in 5 days. Only hr sleep monitoring active. Didnt use gps at all…

                        it was on, would turning it off make it lose connection to phone?

                          @colakovitz You just need it for the pairing (initial connection), afterwards not.
                          Eats a lot of battery…
