Manual Laps on custom sport - make it stop :)
-
I created a custom sport mode on my Vertical for running. On the watch itself I set the Autolap to 1 mile and every mile the watch beeps and increments the Autolap as I would expect. However, it also beeps and increments a Lap counter seemingly at random. I have no idea how this Lap is being set or what the criteria is for it to increment. On the Suunto app, when I download the data for run, I see a Manual lap table which correlates with the Lap beeping. If I swipe left on the app I see my Distance Autolap as I would expect.
So, the question is, how is this Manual Lap being created? The beeping is distracting and I have no clue how it got set up or what it signifies. I’m fairly sure I’m not hitting any buttons or touching the screen when the Lap gets set.

@andybcarpenter do you have a S+ app activated that would create these manual laps (e.g Climb does that)?

right. Many S+ apps create laps, like the loop or climb ones. Even fitness tests like aerobic decoupling etc. generate laps after a certain time for warmup etc.

It was indeed the S+ Climb. Thank you.
