Suunto Beta Release for Suunto 9 Peak Pro, Suunto 9 Peak, Suunto 9 Baro, Suunto 9 and Suunto 5 Peak
-
@SuperD It’s a staged release. Unless the firmware gets posted here you may have to wait a few days.
-
@el2thek I think that Beta release and official release are the same. At least software versions are identical: 2.26.8
-
@jjpaz My S9PP shows 2.27.8
-
@SuperD I think it’s the same as beta, hence it shows up to date.

Hence, we were the beta. Not the firmware.

Has anyone happened to this in the guides?
In dark mode, all good.
In light mode, the screen is dark and the data labels disappear.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos How do you do a soft reboot? Thanks.
-
@ChicChoc press and hold the upper right button until the watch restarts.
-
@auxina here are some comparison photos from my S9 Peak and training session from “Train as One”. No loss of text & icons. It might be model dependent?
-
Ok, do I understand this correctly, the beta we installed a while ago on the S9PP is the same as the official release which is now rolled out, so we don`t have to update again?
-
@jthomi
that’s how I understand it.
only people with a higher interest in it installed it, could test it and give valid feedback. -
@wakarimasen Yes, that’s the S9PP software version. 2.26.8 is the S9P software version.
Both cases, same version as the Beta software so it seems that Beta software it’s been deployed as final production version. -
@althaea35
I guess it depends on the model. In your case, the texts do not disappear but the background does not become clear. In my case, the background is not clear but I think the texts turn black and that’s why they don’t seem to be displayed. -
Greetings Hive mind, has there been a change to the way the recovery timer works in the latest update, i can see people commenting that it isnt working on the vertical, my 9pp appears to be counting down but it doesnt seem as consistent as prior to the update.

Hi, if I set Standby on Adaptive nothing happens i.e. standby light does not change anymore when surrounding light conditions change. It used to work before upgrading.
I’m a bit disappointed by this after also loosing the Raise to wake during activities feature as well… -
What are the changes/fixes/new on 2.27.8…?
Does someone knows about the changelog?
thx in advance -
@cemoi71
yes, answered in the your identical question in the S9PP thread …in general: no need for redundant posts -
@freeheeler thx, I saw it.
this one I’ve discovered it afterwards, and was more fresh.
Feared that the other one none would answer.
The thing on the phone the experience is complete different.
The wished info is easier to acces with a desktop for me…
Many thx for your help, and have a nice time.
cheers -

One more thing for 9PP is that the HR light is always on now
The only thing left to do is change the application graph to render the more detailed dataI second that!

@minimark069 Hi, I have the same experience. The regeneration time is not calculated continuously, but in jumps. Moreover, I think incorrectly.
