I’m having difficulty with the setting for backlight. In the Settings-General-Backlight menu, I have the brightness setting on high. Regardless of what settings I use for standby or raise to wake, neither of these features seem to be working. The backlight is on and bright for a few seconds after touching a button, but after that, the watch goes completely dark, and raising my arm does not do anything.

Is this a fault or am I doing something wrong?

The standby option should leave a faint glow active all the time. Raise to wake has two options: low and high intensity. When enabled a flick of the wrist should enable the backlight.

Also make sure you don’t have “do not disturb” enabled.

I tried but was unable to reproduce it.

I set the backlight to high and enabled standby. The watch shows a bright light for a while and then dimmed down to a faint glow. After pressing a button it turns bright again.

I enabled raise to wake in low setting (standby still enabled). There it doesn’t seem to work but that is probably because the intensity of the low raise to wake setting is the same intensity as the standby intensity.

When I set the raise to wake to high, the watch shows the same faint glow and turns bright when I raise my arm.
