What do you expect from the next update?

@Mister-PYC that’s partly the case considering the pretty regular surveys we receive directly through SA. I just replied to the last one yesterday. It comes as a pop-up message when launching SA.
-
@Mister-PYC
there’s no need to multiple post
You’ve already opened a specific thread, if you really need to quote it, link it here -
@Tieutieu for structured workouts would also be great to have a counter for intervals (e.g. 7/10).
-
@mabe2k yep, that’s what I call « rep counter »
-
@sartoric Hey !!! I just realized after having wrote this here that is will have been better to create it as a separate post? look the timing.
Having capacity to delete our own post you will have found a single entry precisally as a separate topic -
@Mister-PYC
can you edit a post? -
@sartoric Yeap for sure I can edit and remove all inside leaving an empty egg … you are right
DONE !!! -
@Stoke80 said in What do you expect from the next update?:
- Heart rate transmission to other plattforms (e.g. ZWIFT)
- More Sensor connections
- Beeing able to connct the Suunot HR Sensor to more than one device
In addition I would love to see that my daily movement is also taken into account in my progress. Not only when I do a training.
I mean when I have a busy day in my vineyard, I collect a lot of steps… Would be nice to see such days having an impact on my CTL, ATL and TSB.
-
@Stoke80 Referring to what you wrote at the end. This is why I try to start “walking” as an additional activity. I launch it when I know that I will do at least 2 kilometers at a time moving from point A to point B. Especially when I do it quickly, rushing to the train station, for example:) After all, such moving can be counted as aerobic exercise in zone 1 (just like hiking).

ANT+ protocol
-
This is what I do as well, but sometimes (or many times) I forget to start an activity.
Which leads me to another function which could be added:
- Automatic detection of an activity, like the Apple Watch does.
It even takes into account the distance already covered.
- Automatic detection of an activity, like the Apple Watch does.
-
@Stoke80 Not a bad feature, it would be great if you could specify yourself exactly what activity should start automatically when you start moving and after what time or distance traveled (for example, to exclude just walking around the apartment).
-
Well, tbh, that is, at least for me, hard to specify. I don’t know how Apple has solved this.
I assume it has something to do that you probably have your iPhone with you as well and the GPS it takes from there including speed etc. However, it worked pretty well, even with my older AW 6…
When I went for a walk, it asked me after several hundred meters if I am walking and if I want to start a training.
Same thing when I took my bike to commute to work…Not sure how it would behave for running, as there I never forgot to start an activity
-
Some features / corrections:
- NGP data for running pace
- Notification: separate workout notification and phone notification (using acoustic notifications for workouts and only vibration for phone notifications)
- sTSS: swimming pace TSS for pool swimming!!
- add manual distance and time track for swimming without arms
- advanced running metrics data (vertical oscillation, pace length, ground contact pace, etc)
- advanced sleep monitoring (REM, awakenings, phases, etc)
- add other data faces in “custom sport” nd/or possibility modify sport “base” in the watch
- adding count of “floor climbed” to step count
- adding 3-part integration with myfitnesspal or fat secret for calculating calories
- improve the sensibility of data on watch face and add data can be display like TSS + CTL + HR + CAL + Time
- add some time alarm during activities like eat, drink, custom, etc.
Thank you for reading

@Ars-Vitae I have the opposite problem, when I forget to stop the activity. Then the way back with my car is part of an hiking activity
Would be great if the app has a function to trim activities afterwards. -
@mabe2k Very good point, indeed, in this case I have a similar problem, I also often forget. It would be great, as you write, if, based on the speed and unconventional movements (on foot) at the parking spot, the activity algorithm would propose to terminate the workout just at that spot.
-
I would love to have an alarm/ notification when I’m running in the ‘wrong’ zone. Not just one, when I enter it, but a repetitive notification that bugs me to slow down/ speed up.
-
@wakarimasen This is possible though (outside of structured intervals), when starting an exercise, choose: > Exercise options > Intensity Zones > HR zones (example) > set target zone > Zone 2
Now exit the menus, and start your exercise. When entering the zone you’ll get a beep, and when leaving the zone it the watch will either beep telling you to speed up or slow down. The HR zones can also be defined here if you want. Works well for me to remind me to stay in Zone 2! -
@LitchiMonster Thanks! I’ve tried this before, but I was thinking more of a structured session: warmup in zone 2/ interval on zone 4/ recovery on zone 3 etc…
This appears to be not so easy with my S9PP
