      multiple sensors

Glad to read it’s on its way, it’s one of the major feature I’m waiting for before switching

@placebo original rumors were that this was coming in 2024, hopefully we’ll have it in 2025. I also heard rumors about better swimming functionalities, but have not seen anything yet.

@cosme-costa To me a regression is when something was working and a new version breaks that functionality, especially if it affects a wide array of cases. So the sleep tracking breakage is one regression to me, not a new “feature”.

To me a bug would be if it started tracking sleep erroneously because of other changes to the code, but not when it doesn’t work at all.

It’s quite strange that this problem slipped through beta testing, but hey, sh%t can happen 😅

However, I believe Suunto should have released a quick-fix just to address this one as soon as it was addressed.

It did not totally slip through, it was just not properly acknowledged. It is also a difficult bug to fix (it is not only the watch firmware, it is also the OHR firmware at play), and it sometimes takes days, if not weeks, to trigger.

However, I believe Suunto should have released a quick-fix just to address this one as soon as it was addressed.

There have been already 12 software releases in testing to fix this, it is not easy to fix. Engineers have been working on this for weeks now, to avoid that the fix is going back to the OHR firmware in the 2.37 branch (as the temporary hotfix for S9PP did).

@jsuarez @jsuarez But as I recall, the problem is that the OHR stops working and then is when the sleep tracking fail, or I’m mistaken? If you do a soft reset, then the OHR starts working again and the sleep tracking works again for some time, am I right? So, in fact it is a bug, isn’t it?

And the icing on the cake would be to remove the pseudo-carousel animation from the menus. 🤞 😁 (I don´t believe so, sadly)

@enriqueescoms Do you mean the new animation in the menus with the last update? I like it, and every day even more.

@cosme-costa Yes, that’s what I mean. In my case, I like it less and less every day.

But well, I understand that it is a matter of personal tastes for each one. 🤷 😉

I hope that one day, for MIP screens they add again the raise to wake only in activities as an option, as it was in the S9B or still is in the S5Peak.
I would love to see this in my SV. The people that uses the watch in the dark know exactly how useful this will be. And I do not want raise to wake in any other situation, so please put this option again.

That’s not the whole story. With that FW I managed to get the HR back working but even with it operative sleep tracking was unavailable. You can see my “recollection” of the problem some in the new FW thread.

Good to see that there’s been a lot of effort on solving this.

Another wish that would be great : change of sleep tracking algorithm on SV to have nap tracking and sleep phases, as it is on SR and SRs. That would be awesome.

@Tieutieu I vaguely recall someone saying the Vertical still uses the old algorithm licensed from a third party where the Race and Race S use an in-house algorithm. I would assume Suunto would be keen to replace the licensed algorithm due to costs or licenses expiring so there is, I think, some hope 🙂

Better weather widget app. 10 day forecast, hourly forecast for the next 24 h at least.

More watch faces with the ability to add more information to one.

Enable more 1-2 more apps during activity

                                        Other than that quite happy
