      Hi everyone,
After some trying I can say for sure that Airplane mode seems bugged.
While it deactivates the wi fi connection, it does not have any influence on the Bluetooth.
My watch gets synced with the phone no matter if I set airplane mode on or off.
Shouldn’t airplane mode turn every wireless connection off, Bluetooth included?

@sartoric According to the manual all connections should be off.

For sure it’s a discrepancy between manual and how it works, that said it could be ok … or not.
Maybe the airplane mode was updated and the manual isn’t, someone with test firmware (@Egika, @isazi, @Brad_Olwin ) can confirm if this behavior was already reported.

I wish we could have the option to to set airplain mode in two fashion:
              -Everything is always off
              -Always off unless during activities.

The only reason I disable airplane mode is to connect my HR strap when exercising.

I know shortcuts are coming so this will become less painful for me.

Nonethless would be a clever implementation IMHO.

@sartoric yep, already reported as a discrepancy between manual and function some weeks ago.
                Thx anyway!

                  @Egika
Just realized same on my new Race. There is no chance of turning BT off! Only with DND mode wihich turns off wrist gesture… OMG, I thought, that this stupid bugs are only at Garmin :-(.

                    See this:
                    https://forum.suunto.com/post/143310

It’s indeed intended since ages? For BT, but without the overall EnergySaving
(which doesn’t harm cause training sessions will nevertheless activate connections to your known BT gadgets like wahoo, you name it),
you have to go deeper to Connectivity/AirplaneMode.

The only reason for me to stop the global energysaving would be sleep tracking or hrv.

@fluca I would guess, today you don’t have to switch off airplane mode (WiFi) and power saving (BT off included) when you start your workout. Your belt, BT device should connect automatically.

On today’s first run, I have to turn off the airplane mode to get my HR strap connected. Next annoying behaving/bug.
