New update will come next Moday (postponed to end of week)

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Un bellissimo regalo di Natale anticipato…WOWWWWWW…non velo l’ora!!! Suunto FOREVER
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Will be any update for the S9 line solving the existing issues? Like when using white background and using structured workouts you can’t see the labels? Or returning the wrist movement backlight only in activities, as it is in the S5P?
I understand that this isn’t a priority but will be something or we can say that won’t be any more updates for the S9 line?

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos simple and clear now lock the thread

@dulko79 wait!
Let’s quickly ask if Spartan will get an update too -

Noooo! What about a Spartan update? Ah, @Egika was quicker than me!
Sorry I really couldn’t resist.
Looks like on Monday, the order in Suunto universe will be restored. To some extent.

@cosme-costa about guides I am asking.
About wrist behavior no. It’s like that on new models. So this is not an update coming debate but rather a decision on UX. Let’s not argue here if it’s better or not.

many new things coming from Race to Vertical (UI etc), up to 2Km zoom out, UI Speed + framerate
is S9PP implied in the sentence? however it goes I hope it’s a success for both sides.
-
@Egika I am happy with the current Spartan’s software which works without bugs. We better do not touch it!
-
Got any hope on S9P? i mean in future. actually no issue for me, just curious to know

It uses the older UI like the S9, so it won‘t get the new features. Because of hardware limitations. If you want, read the podcast transcript mentioned in another thread: the S9P was a big step with regards to size and appearance, but it is a „transition model“ that internally has a lot in common with S9B.

A Race with the aspect of the S9P would have been perfect.
-
@Mauerwegler I’m not looking for the new feature. I’m looking for the improvement, e.g. breadcrumb navigation become more smoother like SV. currently lagging 1 sec or 2 secs or sometimes even more
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Thanks for the answer, I’m not complaining, the S9B has got tones of upgrades with new features and I understand that it won’t get new upgrades but will be nice to get some small fixes, like the guides one.

You will love it. Still wear my S9PP a lot. And on my wrist now.

new update for your Vertical, Race and S9PP.

Just for clarification, all mentioned here will come to 9PP as well ? I’m looking forward to the UI speed improvments !

Sadly, the longest timer on my SSU is
4849 hours – 1 s, so I can’t yet add a countdown that beeps on Monday. You are lucky with your S9PP timer, it seems! I think my SSU needs an update more urgently than your S9PP…Now seriously, 49 h is more than I expected, I will try to use it (I only got one alarm on the SSU ).

Love to read this, S9PP in all discussions is always left aside

Do you mean that when one switches to the breadcrumb display one sees the route „as last time when this screen was active“, and it takes a second to update to the current position? The SSU has that, too. I always thought that is due to some power saving but even then it would be better to show a sand clock instead of old route/breadcrumb data from some minutes or hours ago.

OMG. @GiPFELKiND becomes unemployed.
