      Hi friends

Can somewhere point me to where I can turn off ‘auto lap’ in cycling mode (Suunto 5 Peak)? I am usually pretty good at scouring through a manual and working out how to make my tech work me, but Suunto’s documentation does not seem all that comphrehensive to me.

On my ride this morning, the watch began recording a lap every few seconds. I do not know why.

      thanks for any assistance.

      regards
      Andrew

@andrewdemack hey, unfortunately this can’t be done during the activity.
The setting for autolaps is in the pre-start screen when you scroll down.

And if you enabled any S+ apps on your watch, then they will probably take auto laps as well. I can imagine the S+ Sprint for example.

@Egika Ahh, so S+ apps might be creating autolaps?! That’s good to know.

I have had autolaps during cycling with Race as well even if I’m confident that no autolap creation had been configured. But now I see that it might be my Aerobic Decoupling S+ app which is the culprit.

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen yes, this one should just add 2 autolaps or so, while S+ sprint can go off with every significant speed change…

@Egika yes, there are exactly two autolaps (after 10 and 20 minutes) when using Aerobic Decoupling app. Mystery solved!
