    Hi everybody.

Just recieved Race, after quiting from Garmin (Fenix 6). Well I’m impressed with all, especially with Amoled display and at at least for me, very intuinitive IU. BT connection went smooth, also fw update. Maps are amazing. Only thing to complain for now. After first spinning workout on my Smart Indoor trainer is the Calorie burn result. At completely the same workout, same personal and intesity HR zones, + other parameters set, Race shows almost twice less calories burned, as Fenix 6.

Fenix 6 after 60 min. 750, Suunto Race only les than 400. What the is the catch? Any Idea? And also as Polar user (as most accurate Cal/Hr) for many years in the past, every body should confirm, that 60min workout at HR Avg 140bmp should result more than 400 kCal! But no at Suunto Race! Am I missing something?

PS. I used Polar H9 HR strap succesfuly paired with Race, for accurate data!

@ppresing I know my comment will not help much, just my two cents. I am not really looking at burned calories anymore, since this is just an estimate. Who knows which one is correct - Garmin or Suunto? It’s not possible unless you do a lab test to see how much calories you’re burning imho. But yes, I’ve also seen that I have less burned calories on Vertical after the software upgrade (which is more realistic - again in my opinion).

@ppresing not sure about details, but remember, that Suunto is showing active calories only for the workout.

@ppresing Try to check if you set your body weight correctly in the watch.

@Egika in Suunto race shows active calories and total calories like Garmin. I tested Fênix 7 solar in my right wrist and Suunto Race on left and I can say steps from the day and calories are almost the same number, normally ,last 7 days average 3176 calories day on Suunto and 3180 on Garmin,21052 steps average on Suunto 20938 average on Garmin,so I think their algorithm is similar now.
Ps. I don’t care about steps and calories, was just to say they count both, active calories and calories burned out of exercise 😁
