Software Update 2.30.32
-
I’ve just finished a run after the update. Before syncing to SA watch already showed some updated metrics. After uploading the run to SA and syncing the watch with the app, I have the same metrics both in the watch and in the app.
I remember there were lots of reported issues that watch and app show different values (with one day delay). Was it solved or it’s me who got lucky?

@rooldaa this was a problem with the Race at least but it is now resolved on the Race with today’s SW - at least according to my experience with 1 post-update workout. So both Race and 9 Peak Pro users should be in the clear!
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos not an issue from my perspective, just a slower interaction but no big deal
-
um, where is the timer hidden now?
-
@jthomi customize > widgets > timer
-
@robis Thanks mate!
-
@jthomi it has its own widget but you can either pin it to center button or to top one as a shortcut.
-
Do you suggest of reset the watch? After the update?
-
@falkon actually the watch will re-start after the update. So no extra reset necessary.
-
@Egika ok, thanks!

Hello everyone. I am a new member of the Suunto forum. I have been a 9 Peak Pro user for 3 months.
Regarding the latest software update, I installed it last night and had a few bugs:
a. When entering the Activity options nothing appeared available in SuuntoPlus.
b. When I clicked on the bottom button, it sometimes jumped to Freesbe sport mode.This morning, after a manual reboot, this doesn’t seem to happen anymore. Fortunately
So far, so good.
But now I have a question. Does anyone know how to find the cumulative total of predicted recovery hours?
Before, I could find it in the training widget by clicking on the bottom button. But now I don’t know if this information is available.
Thanks and greetings to all.

I have noticed a bugs with 2 watchfaces:
-
The percentage of resources doesn’t renew, till you enter resources widget on the watch:

This is actually old bug, existed also on previous firmware, but on new firmware it is still there. This watchface (on the left) always shows sunset time independently on time of the day (other watchfaces interchange sunrise/sunset depending on time):

This is by design. We have discussed it already.
See here: https://www.suunto.com/Support/faq-articles/features/what-information-can-i-see-on-the-suunto-watch-faces/
It is supposed to just be sunset in this one. -
@Egika but why I need to know sunset time, when it is already dark outside?
It doesn’t make sense for me.
-
@Egika I agree with @Александр-Даниленко , that doesn’t make sense to me too
-
I am not here to make sense out of this.
Just saying it is as designed and not a bug. -
Well, it seems that the issue with updating CTL etc between watch and SA is still there. At least on my watch.
I needed to perform a soft reset to get updated values.
It doesn’t really drive me nuts. Just reporting.
Cheers.

@Александр-Даниленко i find that sunrise and sunset time is useful for me. when i doing outdoor activity with drone videography i want to know around what time is the golden hour so that i can plan by what time to turn on my drone battery to fly and capture golden hour scenery. because i don’t want to turn on too early to waste my battery. of course useful for other preparation as well.

Loving the “edit distance” option after a treadmill activity!

@rooldaa This problem, also present on the SV since the update, has already been reported on the forum. It’s not logic and I hope it will be fixed in the next update.
