heartbeat sensors flashing while watch on the table -- sv 2.30.26

After latest sw update to 2.30.26 I have notice when my watch is on the table, watch face up, from time to time the hearbeat sensors start to flash. It won’t stop flashing until I pick up the watch. This did not happen with older sw.

I have notice battery drain overnight, and I am pretty sure it’s because of this issue.

@Jyrppis this has not been changed. It has been like this before. When the sensor sees some reflecting material (table surface) it tries to measure HR.
When there is no reflection (like sensor facing upwards or placed onto a black non-reflecting surface), lights stay off.

thanks for the answer. btw why it’s trying to measure although i have 24/7 heartbeat off and i and not in training mode?

@Jyrppis no idea. Once I switch off 24/7 HR monitoring the LED go off and stay off, no matter where I place the watch…
