No "lap times" in manual laps in pool swimming.

Hello Suunto users, hello swimmers.
I don’t know if this is the right place to solve problems, but I hope that someone competent will read the problems below and provide swimmers with substantive answers, or someone kind will forward these questions to the source.I am a swimmer and now I only train as an amateur.
I swim 100 to 120 km a month.
I started swimming with SA3P (about 6-7 years of swimming), S9BT (over 2 years of swimming) and currently I swim with Suunto Vertical (…)As You can see, I have been swimming with the SUUNTO brand for almost 10 years, and with the Sunnto brand for about 23 years!!!
During this time, nothing has changed regarding the “Pool Swimming” activity…why? Suunto doesn’t like swimmers?OK, Suunto has implemented several SuuntoPlus programs for swimmers, for example SwimmTimer (I wrote about it on this forum), but unfortunately it is an useless tool.
My current training involves working only with my legs and relieving my arms. I swim from 80 to 120 lengths of the pool only with my legs (2-3 km) and I would like to have insight into the statistics of “distance time/25 m.”
I know that I can forget about manually counting the “length”, but the lack of time in a segment is already frustrating!Question for Suunto IT Engineers:
- why haven’t any improvements been implemented in swimming for about 10 years?
- how to interpret statistics from manual laps?,
- how to verify progress in leg training only?
- is the tool provided to swimmers valuable and useful?
- if yes, how to use it???
Yes Suunto, people swim with your products, have problems and expect improvements!
Thank you very much for all Your help.
