I assume it’s not… So changing a model or hard reset is still a pain… Even local copy in file could be a great help.

    … or simple approach during a training session: 1K: = DURATION + ((1 - DISTANCE) / SPEED_AVG[30]) * 3600 RESULT = SUUNTO_DURATION + (1 - SUUNTO_DISTANCE) / SUUNTO_SPEED_AVG[30] * 3600 1600m: = DURATION + ((1.6 - DISTANCE) / SPEED_AVG[30]) * 3600 RESULT = SUUNTO_DURATION + (1.6 - SUUNTO_DISTANCE) / SUUNTO_SPEED_AVG[30] * 3600 5K: = DURATION + ((5 - DISTANCE) / SPEED_AVG[30]) * 3600 RESULT = SUUNTO_DURATION + (5 - SUUNTO_DISTANCE) / SUUNTO_SPEED_AVG[30] * 3600 10K: = DURATION + ((10 - DISTANCE) / SPEED_AVG[30]) * 3600 RESULT = SUUNTO_DURATION + (10 - SUUNTO_DISTANCE) / SUUNTO_SPEED_AVG[30] * 3600 15K: = DURATION + ((15 - DISTANCE) / SPEED_AVG[30]) * 3600 RESULT = SUUNTO_DURATION + (15 - SUUNTO_DISTANCE) / SUUNTO_SPEED_AVG[30] * 3600 HALF: = DURATION + ((21.1 - DISTANCE) / SPEED_AVG[30]) * 3600 RESULT = SUUNTO_DURATION + (21.1 - SUUNTO_DISTANCE) / SUUNTO_SPEED_AVG[30] * 3600 MARATHON: = DURATION + ((42.2 - DISTANCE) / SPEED_AVG[30]) * 3600 RESULT = SUUNTO_DURATION + (42.2 - SUUNTO_DISTANCE) / SUUNTO_SPEED_AVG[30] * 3600 3600 seconds are 60 minutes

@margusl that is more or less the main topic - trust. I trust Strava approx as much as Facebook, Apple, Google and Windows, and although I absolutely understand that I have to disseminate my (personal) data in order to see nice curves, maps, etc, and am absolutely willing to do it (and of course already doing it), I at least try to limit the number of services which are receiving the data directly from me. And, of course, try to avoid the “worst ones” (following my own judgement and not always the general terms and conditions with the nicest wording).

@TELE-HO said in Show total ascent in summaries, split summaries by sport type in yearly summaries: @Alexander-Prinoth I’ve heard it’s planned, but I’m glad it’s not yet implemented… SA counts ski descents in meters completely wrong and it is likely that it would even mess up total ascent statistics… I rely on QS for these values Actually it would not mess up, as it would get the totals from calculated values and not the display values which are pulled from a wrong source. It is a similar bug as the asc dsc data bug in the shared activity URL on Android that has been there from the start of SuuntoApp and still hasn’t been fixed.

@Reiner Offline maps in a similar manner Komoot allows offline downloading would be great, even more if they are free of charge for Suunto owners

@valdis830 said in Smart sensor battery level.: Is it possible to incorporate the SmartSensor battery level in watch or SuuntoApp? Will do it some day? It would be good. It would be nice to show the battery level for all hardware that is connected to the watch or SA via BLE, not only SmartSensor. Hopefully there is a common interface over all the devices for that, which provides it.

Interesting phenomenon what I noticed last days… One night, after the defined begin of sleep, I left my s9pp from wrist away to take a shower, then later i wear it back and went to bed. And noticed the next day that the sleep begin, started at the time as I put it away from wrist. Thought well, that’s wrong, it shouldn’t take it in account. But after some thinking I thought, if the system detect no signs (no pulses no accelerations), and if it happen by defined the sleep time. It belong to sleep ? or no sleep ? then defensive thinking, that’s sleep. I found that not good, but a dev, I would program like this. An other day, i left the watch 30 min before the sleep begin, during one hour, then wear it again, and was active 1h and went to bed. The system interprets the sleep began half an hour before the sleep begin, and was near of 9,5h long with 70% quality, what’s fully wrong. Seems that the algo used the first h with 100% good, then the 1h sleep brake (a brake of 1h? really?) made it worse to 70%… the rest was maybe good. Thus i think it would be not bad, or better said, better if we have our sleep represented as diagram, and maybe have the possibility to correct it afterwards. Don’t know how is the experience of the suunto community colleges about the sleep tracking by their side… How it is ? some more interesting experiences ?

@Łukasz-Szmigiel I got the point, but I think there are lots of features much less useful than this that are making the UI more complex with no significant gains

@Egika said in Estimate Vo2max: @suzzlo said in Estimate Vo2max: Does it makes sense to say that today you are 53.26 and tomorrow you get a 53.41? Absolutely. This is just the digits after the dot. I would wonder if the measurement was precise enough to actually rely on those digits… It does make no sense when measurements are based on model, and not direct. It’s like measuring a wooden stick weight based on average wood density and visual estimation of diameter and length instead of putting it on a scale. A watch, no matter what kind of model it uses does not measure your oxygen intake. Lab test does.

@Brad_Olwin said in Full Watch customisation via the Suunto app: @James-Tunnell said in Full Watch customisation via the Suunto app: @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos still missing sport mode customization…especially on the Ambit3 My understanding is this will be done via Suuntolink. https://forum.suunto.com/topic/4361/new-suuntolink-to-replace-moveslink2/3 Yes, I think you are right, but regarding the Ambit 3, it kinda losts functionality compared to previous MC app. Omy side, I used mC app more to change some watch parameter on the fly than sync.
