@moe67er Heh. Yes, I have mild sticker shock from the Vertix alone! Though I’m not complaining, given that we’re talking about sapphire glass and titanium. I just hope the overall package lives up to expectations. 🙂

I think this idea of you with crowdfunding a SW is not bad, but now, help me if I am wrong…you wrote “I don’t know who could do the job”, that also means you have no real knowledge in programming?

And Suunto clearly has intention to make a working piece of software. I can understand that some users of Suunto hardware want to speed things up a little. But as @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos pointed our several times here, Suunto is merely a small or smaller company, things take their time at Suunto HQ. If you don’t like the time it takes, nor the software delivered, maybe you should take a look around to find something from a competitor which suits your needs more.

And do you think writing something like this makes development faster? No need to insult the people here.

Respiration rate in Movescount is kind of a by-product, it’s result of one of the steps to get EPOC estimation from IBI data.

Yes, that is the big problem, I dont think I have done any swimrun where it would have been possible to use multsport in Suunto. I try to use manual laps to be able to check swim time after the race.

Yeah. Automatic upload is a pain. I run on a threadmill and distance from the watch is not precise. In strava I cant change it by hand so i have to remove training and add it again…

We already had an interesting discussion on the efficacy of these sort of automatic ways of computing VO2Max and other metrics 😉

@peringmar I think that “interted height graph” is actually my heart rate, not altitude. High at the beginning and end because you have to get out of the boat and back in with about 30 kg of gear hanging off you, while clad in full body 3mm wetsuit in 35°C temperature.
