@sartoric said in Issue syncing long activity from Suunto app to Strava: @cosmecosta said in Issue syncing long activity from Suunto app to Strava: With SA we are loosing that. Well, yes and no. Actually SuuntoLink warn you to sync before running the FW update afair. In my opinion a warning is not an automated operation that avoids a potential risk of loosing moves. I mean with SL+MC, in normal mode, you do not loose anything when you do a FW update. With SL+SA you must do both operations in two different platforms with an order. In my opinion is clearly a lost function/feature and something that Suunto should adress (NOT prio one clearly). Actually, in my experience in the forum, this kind of posts have started to appear when people has started to disconnect from MC, so probably people is not well aware of the behavior. Of course there is the warning but, as I said , this is clearly an improvement point.

@isazi said in Unable to turn off gps in indoor climbing: @Likarnik I believe I can help you with this. I guess you are using the default Climbing activity and just disabled GPS. Because in the data fields you still have speed and distance those things are recorded using the accelerometer in your watch. Create a new sport, based on Climbing, and just add data fields that you deem useful (I just have time, HR, calories). Use that and it will work. What a Champ you are! Thank you! I was using the default climbing profile, your solution worked fine.

@jccman remember that you can do the history import from Movescount to Suunto App only once.

Dark mode in 2023 remains a good idea

@bulkan yep, “Virtual Cycling” and “Virtual Running” would be nice to have, but I assume it won’t happen unless Zwift (or similar service) and SA get native integration

@matthieu-fou unfortunately personal settings from Ambits don’t get synced to Suunto app, even using latest SuuntoLink version. It would be nice, but not possible at the moment. See my post here.

@wotus The first issue did not change, but the second issue was fixed with update SA v4.69.4. Max. HR value in graph and colors in zones are now correct. [image: 1684157756507-screenshot_20230515-152330_suunto.png]

I had the same issue with this graph, and we can’t analyze some little variations of pace. Perhaps we should ignore the negative peaks in pace (stop, strong slowdown, drop, etc.) to display a graph that adjusts to the average pace rather than the extremes. Vertical zoom on y axe could be an extra option to adjust if necessary display in specific situation. Atm, pace chart is rather unusable, or even useless.

@Brad_Olwin I’ve been testing this by changing my watch to display pace rather than HR zones, and forcing myself to run in a focused zone. Last week, I ran tempo pace for 8 miles, and my HR drifted into Z4 for a large part, marking the run Anaerobic - no issue here, this would be my experience when running at this pace (around 7:10 p/m - my half marathon pace). All other runs have been at Z2 pace, and have stayed in the Aerobic zones in Impact.

@Hans-Frans until now all exports are done in the cloud and not in the app, may change in the future but I don’t know.

I just tested this. When I export GPX Workout it works on OSM. So it is probably due to the missing timestamps. But, I found workflow to be a bit bad… When I export GPX route I just download GPX file and that’s it, but when exporting GPX exercise I don’t get GPX file but link to the exercise, and when I click on it I get GPX file… Really bad workflow. @Egika For runalyze import, I just tried to open same GPX route as a manual activity, just to test it. I forgot that I am uploading a route not exercise… I know about the fit file, this was just experiment. @pilleus Yes, SA - Runalyze - OSM was working from start. This was just an experiment on how to get GPX file from SA that works in OSM the easiest way. But it appears that Runalyze method is the easiest. Any chance to add proper GPX export from SA?

@Mitch9 Maybe you can understand, if you know that the highest priority actually is a) emojis in notifications b) separate selectable dates for the alarm clock c) more watch faces d) sound and vibration for zones in structured workouts sorry, could not resist…

@Peter-Tönz said in Suunto Vertical no longer connectable: @sartoric No it’s android 13. Which is the one with the bluetooth issue @Peter-Tönz I had to use a secondary iPhone because my whoop would not connect to 13. It’s a known issue and not one that anyone has a fix for as far as I know
