@brad_olwin yes, everything from the list is on the watch, but nothing on iOS SA version, that is the problem. Like bike riding, speed and total distance. As I wrote Android have some info, and MC had everything.

@isazi yes of course you’re right - it should not happen but as you say it’s not very serious. I was happy that the app did its job after 24 hours again
@atlen How do you have the time zones set up in the phone and watch. Strangely enough I wonder if this is a phone integration issue? Are the sleep times correct on the watch?
@brad_olwin
Ok thanks I suppose I will also lose my navigation track. So I will try to save everything before doing anything.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Pierre
Thanks for the help!!! I´ve already tried what @Umer-Javed suggested and it still does not work. I´m currently using v 2.14.0 which I assume is not a beta version. Will try to install/uninstall and go from there…

Ok, now I see the problem. There is something going on with privacy settings for activities that sync offline and spend longer time in phone without sync with server. Even though her default activity visibility settings are set to “Followers”, these activities were somehow set to “Private”. But she did not do that manually. There must be some bug with privacy settings and it might be related to iOS version of SA only.
I created a bug
Thanks @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos, I would have done the same.
Well, maps are generated via mapbox afaik, so if something isn’t working on their side(maybe high server load) you can end with black maps or graphic artifacts.
It could be also some rendering issue on SA (black map)
Well, maybe it was not an issue on the iOS side after all
After restarting the watch, I was able to pair it. Now syncing seems to work again as well.
Rebooting still being the best way to fix things I suppose
@Fenr1r said in Background dosen't work on Ios:
@Brad_Olwin On iOS, without the app running (as per OP)? Doesn’t work for me.
The app needs to run in the background and the watch connected. The app does not have to be open and displayed on the iPhone to work.
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
i have the same problem since the very start of ZoneSense:
Suunto vertical, brandnew Suunto Cheststrab, and this is a typical result after an hour and 8 kilometers. Does anybody have an advise?
Thank you and have a nice sunday evening

@kamarasm you could try opening a GPX you know loads in a plain text editor (notepad on Windows) and then open the one that will not load.
You will see simple coding, just see if there is any obvious difference or special characters.
I used to have to do this on every upload from a Garmin Etrex to have Strava read the elevation from the GPS.
Or upload to GPX editor or similar, add elevation then redownload. GPX editor (or why others editors) will rewrite the GPX header.
I generally only look at the app following the exercise. For me it always aligns pretty well with feel. I use it for running primarily. For CrossFit it depends on the length/duration of some of the work - as mentioned in the FAQ - you need durations long enough for the reading to catch up in the watch.
