You can activate swimtimer Suunto Plus app. While pool swimming, it generates a screen where it shows : distance and elapsed time of the last swim stretch and the rest time since the end of that strech. It acts as an auto lap in pool.
Personnaly, I count distances myself (with help of chrono) and wish I cant deactivate autolapse and pause because I do a lot of kick and drills wich most of the time stop the time on Suunto. I prefer to push stop myself and start a set myself.
Maybe you think more about the rest screen of the Garmin swim app. Wich I did like very much. I also miss a lot the 3 second warning when pause button was pushed to reststart an interval.
So when I finished a set I pushed pause button, the watch paused, started a customizable pause screen in black with time of rest elapsing. To restart a set, I pushed pause again, a 3 second decount started and a normal screen appeared. Total time never stopped.
But that was on Garmin. I wouldnt go back, I love V2, but its swim app has alot to improve IMO.
