@Fenr1r thank you, I’ve got access to both IOS and Android devices. Waypoint coordinates currently exist in the Garmin / BaseCamp (MapSource) eco system right now.

@bertrand-cluzet What firmware are you using? I downgraded my firmware from the latest to an older firmware and the crashing stopped. I’m using 2.23.24 which was recommended a while back by another user and it’s rock solid stable! No more crashes!

Second, I do not understand the local is a few hours out. Third, the compass requires calibration after charging as the charger is magnetic. Are you syncing to Suunto app?

Suunto 9 should have great open water track. However that depends on the way you swim. The watch needs to come out of water so freestyle is the recommended style. Breaststroke will keep the watch in the water for long. as a quick test , switch to navigation screen when swiming and check if the arrow that shows your location and track work while swiming. The more you keep it underwater the longer it will take to get a fix the next time you take it out

The bar is sunrise to sunset. The pointer is the current time. Very helpful for a quick glance when you are hoofing it to camp (or looking for one) at the end of a long day. The bar fades at dawn/dusk times. And you don’t see the bar because you took the picture at night.
