@vjakub the calibration itself is not influenced. Just under the jacket there is a high probability that during movement air pressure building up periodically inside of the jacket. Thus generating noise in the barometric sensor signal.

@gdimos Sorry, I’ve misunderstood from the beginning what your problem/complaint is. Understanding now that you want the screen to turn off completely when you’re wearing the watch - completely blank, not just the backlight off - my watch will do this but I have to keep my arm completely still. Even the slightest movement will turn the screen back on - from what I can tell, much less than is needed to activate the backlight in the “raise to wake” setting.

@Евгений-2 I wish you good health! I sold my 9pp titanium slate-I still couldn’t get used to that vibe. I ordered 9p all black titanium.

@TonyG You were right about position of the belt. I tried it for two past runs and I got steady performance. First one was with variable terrain and second steady paced run. There’s no hiccups on graphs. I was using Polar beat at the same time and they both show same bpm. Thank you for your tip

@SuperD I know I repeat myself. but direct comparison is only possible when worn by one person and even then left and right wrist can give minor differences. if you could do overlaying tracks it would make the differences visible. I’ve spotted already a difference in one curve where the garmin went significantly on the inside, almost took a shortcut. sum all of those up and it might explain the difference

@Snokdibok Welcome to the forum! are you sure you are writing about the S9PP? As this watch is never using your phone GNSS to acquire the position. Plus I have no idea what your assumption about a stack overflow in BT communication is based on… This is pure speculation. If you are experiencing an issue with your watch and if you are looking for help in this user forum, it is a good idea to describe your problems. What are you trying to do and what happens instead. There are many extremely helpful people her in his forum. Cheers

@enriqueescoms said in Imagine if Courtney Dauwalter was still wearing the 9PP: Well, I just contacted the support service (which was fast and efficient this time) and they told me, regarding the touchscreen bug, the following: “Hi! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. This is a known issue, but our internal team is working on a permanent solution. While we don’t have a specific resolution date yet, we assure you this is a priority and we hope to resolve it as soon as possible. We hope to have everything back to normal this week.” Wow, I appreciate that the developers are working on it and that a solution is expected to be found in the short term. I pray for that Oh my God! Well, it wasn’t that week, nor the next, nor does it seem like this one… Anyway, resignation and faith.

@freeheeler indeed. You have to change the pins or be mindful of where you wear it. I would def not wear it swimming, disregarding the pins even, hook and loop is not purposed for this. I noticed it conflicts with gloves a bit. But for day to day it’s fine and you just have to be careful with backpacks - the only case I found where pins aren’t great.

Again reporting the same super annoying bug If during the swimming I switch to other sport activity (for example, circuit training to track time and HR while doing drills), and then back to pool swimming, the watch doesn’t save my intervals for no reason. Sometimes they do, sometimes not, what make them unreasonable for “multisport” trainings. Multisport training: [image: 1706643402951-screenshot_2024-01-30-21-30-58-24.jpg] Last “pool swimming”: [image: 1706643440631-img_20240130_213129.jpg] Despite I did intervals and the watch shown me intervals distance and time, they didn’t save them for no reason 🤬

@kurtpenter thanks but no dice… I did reply to that thread as it looks like something I’ve experienced also Today’s easy run and I’m still getting wrist power. I guess I’ll try to unpair and re-pair the pod with the watch. Annoying! And Race 2 prices even second hand are too steep for me to try switching to newer watch. This issue was tolerable for a few months. It’s just this week it seems to be persistent instead of “once every few weeks”.

Suunto Sapphire screens do attract fingerprints etc more than other watch brands sapphire screens do. This has also been mentioned with some reviewers also, not limited to S9PP, here is where DC Rainmaker mentions it. https://youtu.be/lzRnLa4Jf9U?t=533

I used webchat yesterday but support were only able to suggest things I’d already tried (holding the upper button for longer etc). So I submitted a service request and my watch has just been collected from my home. Very efficient so far, hopefully the repair/replacement will be as efficient. I examined the watch carefully and noticed some very small bubbles between the right-side charging connector and the centre sensor. Not as bad as some of the reports on the forum, but I wonder if this is a result of water ingress. I’ve used the watch a lot since I got it in January - about 400hr of recorded activities - and the only recent change is using it for pool swimming 2-3 times per week (whereas only used a couple of times for swimming in the first 6 months).
