@seanvk I am in the situation since very longtime ago. I am using a s9b. After each workout I am uploading manually.fit file to SA to monitor my activity and analyze my data in wahoo app or Runalyze. I was hoping a integration similar to hammerhead with Wahoo.

@isazi Thx, at least it’s known. In my case I always have my watch on. Sometimes this Spo2 chart appears to be aligned to the end of a gap in HR sometimes isn’t. [image: 1677157154390-smartselect_20230223_065827_suunto.jpg] [image: 1677157154122-smartselect_20230223_065858_suunto.jpg]

@seanvk the good thing with those S+ apps is that they don’t need a new firmware or a FW update. they will just appear in the SuuntoPlus Store on the phone. It is just like with other features: there is some proper development and testing phase needed, that is still ongoing for many new apps. a Stryd one will most likely be among it.

Hi, An update about storage space on the S9PP after I’ve continued to use my watch as I get back to running. The original estimate I gave was too low - I forgot that the watch firmware updated after I used it for the first time and this is why the first activity showed summary data only (not because it had been overwritten). My watch has just now overwritten (graphs/tables no longer available) the first activity I recorded after the firmware update. I had the following stored in the watch: 90.4hrs running in endurance mode - with power but no HR. 19.2hrs running in performance mode - power and HR data (Polar Verity Sense - I assume the same/very similar contribution to file size to the watch OHR but less than a belt because r-r interval data isn’t recorded). 7hrs walking in performance mode - HR data (watch sensor). A total of about 117hrs of mixed use. From this I’d estimate at least 120hrs of activity storage space if recording in endurance mode without HR data. All of the above assumes that the presence/absence of graphs and tables in the watch file still indicates that it does/doesn’t remain in the watch memory. Hope this is useful to anyone else looking to record continuous multi-day activities.

@jasoncuddy I think, we are on the same page. I really enjoy it, just curious, that all of these are known or not. I believe that Suunto will fix them as usual and S9PP will be not just OK, but perfect

@TonyG You were right about position of the belt. I tried it for two past runs and I got steady performance. First one was with variable terrain and second steady paced run. There’s no hiccups on graphs. I was using Polar beat at the same time and they both show same bpm. Thank you for your tip

@herlas OK, Definitely not a feature yet on the S9PP. I just checked on my options under Trail Running and Auto Scrolling is not there. Maybe in a future update? Will let others closer to insider previews weigh in!

@Ultrawalker Hi. You are correct, the Vertix 2 experience for me wasn’t that great. Battery life and GPS were fine, but a bunch of things I didn’t like piled up to me selling it after 2 months, and I just didn’t like how Coros executes the UI and graphics. Totally personal too but I just found everything a little bit cartoonish.

@freeheeler thanks for your answer. In my case nothing is transfered… But I recreate a new mode (same parameters) and now it’s correct !

@Timo-Kauppinen You should be able to fine tune your zones as you run. If you have TrainingPeaks Premium there are additional ways to find your aerobic max. The other way is to use the Aerobic Decoupling Suunto Plus. Go on a flat run and gradually warm up to what you believe the top of Z2 should be. After 10 min the SuuntoPlus app will start and then run at a steady pace that you have warmed up to. If your HR decoupling is <5% (should be >2%) then that would be Z2 upper limit. You can set your Anaerobic threshold using the Suunto Plus app for that as well and that will set your Z4 top. Z3/4 cutoff should be in between those.

@Ultrawalker Yes, the non sapphire version. I read a few reviews and that wrote that the glass of the Fenix7 silver edition was already of very good quality and that paying for just the sapphire glasses wasn’t needed. Time will tell… The glass of my Ambit2 wasn’t t sapphire glass too and has no scratch at all.

@DF130 said in Crazy Altitude: @zhang965 I am close to sea level but on the 5th floor of a building and my S9P (not PP) shows -1m. Has been pulling those stunts all along (and I think my S9B as well, but would have to check). Might be that whenever you are “broadly“ stationary but not from the watch‘s perspective (b/c you eg took a shower, walked the stairs etc), subsequent changes in pressure then get interpreted as changes in altitude w/o any GPS correction as long as you do not start an exercise… Ja, I know, but I’m concerning during first 2weeks it shows 60m, and then it turned to -12m

@freddubai There are improvements coming to S9PP open water swimming. I do not swim much but I am aware that this watch is not performing as well as it should.

@freddubai No, I didn’t have the opportunity to use the 9PP during any kind of water-related activities.

@mikekoski490 FWIW - my Garmin HRM Pro looks the same with the strap looking stretched.
