@Elipsus when the watch connects / disconnects it will vibrate. But it shouldn’t do this outside of an activity. But there have been bugs about the whole connecting BT sensor thing…

@dbutkovic I have a S9PP. I’ve used a second one also. In my experience, although I really love everything else about the watch, it really struggles to maintain accurate heart rate readings when there is much arm movement. The only time I get consistently accurate readings is on a bike trainer or road bike. To manage this, I now use an optical HR arm band that pairs with the watch and works really well. Some people likely get better results with the watch than me. You probably already know all the optimization tips: wear it 2 cm above the wrist bone, make sure it is very snug etc. There are other posts talking about how to optimize OHR.

9PP resetted to standard watch face during the sync with Suunto app today. All downloaded watch faces in the 9PP deleted again. 🤬

I have been using the 9 PP for 3 years so far, with different firmware versions, and the sleeping track has worked well until 4 days ago. Since Tuesday it stopped tracking sleeping and recovering measures. I’m currently in 2.50.26 firmware upgrade. I have just soft reset the watch. Let’s see what happens tonight.

Looks like Fusedalti was slowly moving towards the correct elevation for the first few circuits at least, then it’s more similar after.

@Jan-Elmqvist-Nielsen for me it helped to restart the app, a couple of time each week but it is a solution

Last night my watch also stopped measuring heart rate in the middle of the night. I bought the watch only 6 days ago. A soft restart returned the heart rate. I have software 2.48.16

the screen technology for this watch is to work best in bright outdoor lighting. Indoors or with dimmer conditions, the backlight will switch on. It makes the screen readable but does not provide great pictures. Also with the different settings the watch will still adjust the actual brightness to ambient light. You basically set the starting point for this regulation

@Francesco-Pagano said in Battery drain - share your settings: Since the battery drain issue persists for many users, but not for others or it’s never even occurred for someone, I thought it could be helpful to share our watch and activity settings to try and spot some common patterns: Watch: Suunto 9 Peak Pro Software: 2.48.16 Model number: OW211 Hardware: 3094C4 Purshased april 2025 Before the last FW update, battery lasted about 2 weeks but now it goes 100% to 20% in only one week. Typical use is 3 or 4 activities (around 3h, mostly running) with Suunto HR belt and without map usage. During typical week, I wear it 7 nights but only 4 days (3 days in eco mode during working hours). HR 24/7 without SpO2 Raise to wake ON low brightness Daily alarm and DND between 11PM to 8AM Sleep tracking with HRV Discovery mode OFF Notifications ON/OFF 50/50 Suunto App 3.5.1 (20789) IOS 18.6.2 (IPhone SE) Usually, a day with 1h running with one night (sleep tracking, DND) costs 10 to 14% since the last FW update. Last weekend I got 45% loss in 3 days (only 2h training with GPS). Since a single charge lasts one week, I don’t really care that much. But it was much better before (between 10 days to 2 weeks with the same usage).

@Horizontal_2 said in A little trick for draining the 9PP battery quickly: Nice! I want to know this for the Vertical 2, haha In what user case do you want this? Not sure of draining the battery fast is good for the long term Battery calibration after update, for example.
