@DAVIDB You need to upload it via the app. Go into the Suunto App route planner. Click on the “+” symbol in the bottom right of the screen and choose the option to import a gpx file. Select the file you want, then edit any details if necessary, toggle on the “use in the watch” switch and save it. Sync your watch with the app and the route will transfer.

@paulcarpenter99 This has happened to me, with a SV, some time ago when I tried to download 5/6 maps at the same time. Then I did it in steps of 1/2 maps and I haven’t any issues.

@fer311278 in the app you can set what you want to see on the fly. Click the icon above the lap tables [image: 1737621722980-screenshot_20250123-094100.png] And then choose whatever data you want. [image: 1737621734298-screenshot_20250123-094118.png] If you want to customise it in the watch, have to make a custom sport mode.

@jsus91 this should not happen. Try to do a soft reset and then start an activity and end it to see if the problem still remains. If that doesn’t work then do a factory reset. If the problem still remains then you might need to contact support.

@jsus91 currently only two app can be used together. Let’s hope a future FW update allow to use more than two (if this is feasible from a softwar/hardware point of view)

Yo no tengo el Race, tengo el Vertical que no detecta siestas, pero según tengo entendido que las detecta automáticamente. Tienes que tener bien definida tu frecuencia cardiaca en reposo (hay quien dice que debes poner algunas pulsaciones extra a tu frecuencia en reposo) y el algoritmo ya ara lo suyo.

@GPaddle I lost connection to the phone / SA. I tried to reconnect and Suunto App found my Vertical, but still the connect button was grayed out. Phone restart fixed the problem. Might be related to my OnePlus getting a new Android version…

@Bert your Can measure distance only if you start an activity, otherwise it’s just steps.

Yeah, I was reacting to this very phenomenon today. Using the watch as a regular watch outside an activity, the ‘always on’ face became totally dark in the sunlight, but then brightened significantly when stepping indoors. I thought: “The programmers must have reversed the sensor logic!” - i.e. this being a bug. But I don’t know… I’ve seen it at times in a running activity while angling the watch towards the sun, but since I use the brightest setting and run in the mornings in a gloomy Sweden those times have not been frequent. I imagine the coming spring and summer will make me more irritated though… Perhaps I’ll have to switch over to the Garmin FR955 with MIP screen then.
