@Sebastian-Wagner-0 you may want to contact support, I have not had this happen except once when the HR did not record even though it was set on. Are you getting HR recorded and just no HRV? I see yes, I would contact support,
@logger i really donāt understand this. Having to turn off notifications every time you do an activity is just bad design. This is a super basic feature that every other watch company has. Suunto could probably implement it in a few hours as. I really donāt like notifications during activities. But I like them otherwise. And I donāt want to have to go back and forth all the time. Itās nothing like having to start an activity
I doubt the watch faces will change, the development is not open for that.
Sad. Unfortunately, this means bad ādegradationā of the OLED.
.
Not true, the display only mode shifts pixels so that pixel burn in is at a minimum. Second, the display either turns oft or goes to minimum display, which shifts pixels when your wrist is down.
@Brad_Olwin do I get it right, that pixel shifting is also applied on the exercise screens?
Yes in watch mode but in exercise mode AOD is limited to prevent burn in. I do not use AOD as I do not need it and I do not bike ride much. Without AOD the display goes off during exercise and in watch mode.
@Brad_Olwin I dare š to confirm, that the sleep tracking works with the nightly resting HR - third night with it is spot on again, so it seems to work fine for me. Also did a nap and the race got it tracked fine. Really great work š
@Mff73 Yup, thatās for S9P, but @pilleus mentioned S9PP charger. I had most suunto watches (S3, S9B, S9P, S9PP, SR - missing SV and SO) so I donāt remember how charger for S9PP looked. My wife still uses my old S9P so I have both chargers (S9P and SR).
@Brad_Olwin Thanks for Your time and answer! Youāre right, the interval is short and the ZS seems to be affected with slowing down before it. I know, that it has nothing to do with HR. I used AlphaHRV before.
@Olaf-Gottschalk Hmm - I am pretty close to your use level (24/7 an d10-15 hours a week recording. With an earlier device I would have issues near specific locations - not so much GPS issues, but total connectivity - I think folks in those areas had cell phone/RF blockers (illegal, but it was an interesting part of LA) and sometimes those are around LE or Mil installations. Do you issues crop up around the same geog area?
Vertical, Race and Race S have slightly different antennas.
Tests show, that the SNR is not consistently better of worse for one or the other model.
As you can see from my above activities, I have never had any problem with all Suunto models and got perfect tracks and distances.
It maybe is a personal swimming style issue as wellā¦
Next FW update will also contain GNSS improvements again - just for me myself there is not much to be improved š
@deliu-b I am getting very frustrated with the really poor sleep tracking from the Suunto Race, Iāve had the watch since October 2023 and the sleep tracking and Blood oxygen has been consistently inconsistent and not accurate for about the whole time Iāve had the watch. Between it detecting sleep spot on one day to saying Iāve been sleeping / napping or Napping sleeping or sometimes not sleeping at all is absolutely insane. I tend to trust the metrics of the watch less and less. Is Suunto working on a decent update? Since theyāre Chinese Owned, might be able to get some help from this āDeepseek R1ā AI making headlinesā¦
