@Brad_Olwin said in What about the new OHR sensor?: @Luis-Andés-Olmedo yes, I still have the SV. For me the SV is not as good, my wrists are not large and it is the weight and bulk of the SV that is a problem for me. OK, thank you!

@6294946 said in Can you import data from other platforms to Suunto app?: @duffman19 Oh so this explains a lot. I’ve been very puzzled by the different tss numbers from apple watch vs suunto vertical… Use Healthfit for the Apple Watch and set your zones in Healthfit to be the same as SA. Alternatively the AW will sync to Sporttracks and your activities will automatically be in SA. Sporttracks will not sync Power data from AW but Healthfit will.

I’m locking this one as there is nothing to discuss and there’s no need to open another thread about this topic.

@Olaf-Gottschalk said in What are the chances that proper Bluetooth accessory management is added to the Race?: @Mff73 …from 2018??? That is 5 years ago and nothing was done here? Cry Yes it seems so… Hey but look at the Problem on the Vertical AND Race with incorrect Synchronisation from the TSB, CTL, ATL values since the RACE Release in October. When i count correctly then i hope a update to change the values will come in 2028 be realistic, look deeper in this Forum and you will got a answer for you Problems, Like “this question is there since many years without changing”. And If you read between the textlines you will know what exactly the major Problem is.

I think the current solution is ok. Sometimes you have multiple maps being downloaded, and the app allows you to see which one(s) have been completed, which ones have to be started, and the progress on the current map. Showing all this on a tiny screen would be hard.

There have been loads of good suggestions for improving structured workouts in this forum including: giving the next stage info and a 5 second countdown rather than changing step without warning giving feedback when you are outside of a step target such as hr or pace (like you get with normal targets) the option to see the details of a workout before selecting it the option to see the next step before it activates This suggestion is another really good one and I hope the developers are seeing this feedback. All credit to them though, Suunto’s implementation for structured workouts is actually very good internally. Having read the info on what you can do with structured workouts they are really flexible. You can control the data fields shown per-step (including the ordering), you can conditionally skip steps or repeat steps and you can trigger the progress to the next step based on a number of criteria. It would be great if more of this was exposed in the workout builder and used by third-parties - and the option to start with a third-party workout and then modify it would be very cool. One thing that might help specifically with knowing which interval you are on could be to add the lap count field to one of the other data screens. I know it will count the recovery steps as well but at least it will give you some indication.

Hi all, i have a similar problem: i decided to turn off my suunto race watch for 2 days and then turned it on to record a swim activity: this activity is visible in my logbook on my watch (as the last activity I have done) but the overall week count is still at 0h, and after many syncing operations with the app, the activity is still not uploaded. Might this be a bug? …

To avoid having to activate heart rate monitoring 24/7, wouldn’t it be interesting to be able to manually trigger a sleep monitoring phase? Example: I go to bed at 11 p.m., I go to the sleep menu and trigger “Start sleep tracking” and the watch knows that it can activate HR to track sleep. The same goes for naps which are sometimes not well detected otherwise. It would also preserve the battery by not tracking heart rate all day if the only use is for sleep tracking.

@Massimo4896 As @isazi said even if you doesn’t notice that it’s quite likely that this happens because of the crown contact with something. It happens for me all the time during winter if crown touches the cuffs of my jacket during cross-country skiing. What I would suggest: Select zoom level you like on map screen. Switch to non-map screen - open control panel by long click on bottom button - enable lock screen. Then switch back to map screen. Now zoom is locked and won’t change. Personally I solved the problem by using long strap and wearing watch over-jacket

@Egika said in Movesense not compatible?: Flight mode off? (there are two switches) HR belt selected in activity pre start options? Yes to both! @Mff73 said in Movesense not compatible?: @enneo Did you try to pair it/them to any other apps or devices? Even the Suuntoapp itself… That helped! After connecting to the Suunto App I was able to get the HR reading starting the activity. But I also noticed that connected with the Suunto App both sensors give me ~80bpm while the watch is ~60bpm and I am measuring ~60bpm manually. I guess I will have to toss both Movesense sensors… In the end electronics does not age well, unlike a good red wine!

Update…I discovered why!! It doesn’t depend on the WiFi connection, but on the smartphone’s GPS sensor, which I usually keep off. Without GPS sensor, the weather widget is not updated. I thought that in any case the SA would adjust itself at least with the last known position… but it’s fine anyway
