I have bought used Race for test, but still in warranty. Battery life was much lower, according to spec’s. With everything off, it took 6% per day on a shelf. So I returned it, they changed whole watch and after that, with everything off, same scenario, there was still about 15% left after two months! Now my college has bought it from me. I’m extremely satisfied with V2 battery life and supposed it will be very good with Race too. I will never go back to buggy Garmin.

@ChanOJ I’m not absolutely sure to what extent, but displaying any information on an AMOLED screen shortens its lifespan, which is why the AOD modes are rather minimalistic.

@sky-runner said in In-activity time in HR zones data screen seems broken - times in zones are incorrect: Doesn’t Suunto team have an intern of someone like that to get on these bugs? They could start with fixing translations - an even lower hanging fruit…

@Stefano-M64 It adds it to the day rather to the upcoming sleep I think. So later when you show metrics and tables by day (resources, recovery) are applicable to the same day not to the next day (If I make sense). The same is done by Oura.

@Redbeard_ranger The chest strap is from Ambit 3 so is BT and the same sensor used now. For me, chest straps are more accurate than OHR.

@Michal-Postupalski This is known and posted in the new firmware thread. A workaround is to add an interval screen. Suunto is working on this. Since this is a duplicate I am locking the thread.

@Igor-Uvalin I’ve also had notification issues on my Vertical 2 since today. After trying everything to fix it, I remembered that yesterday I created a training plan (beta) with the Suunto Coach. I deleted that plan, and now notifications are working again.

@Olaf-Gottschalk I’ve used the Crosstrain option for the majority of my races, but I’m going to try an experiment with my next race. I have recently got a Stryd pod, so once it’s calibrated and I trust it, I’ll create a Multisport for Indoor Running / Cross Training. Reason I’m doing this is that I’m trying to improve my times and the best way to do this is in the runs.

that’s why I was asking for the temperature In general I suggest Suunto tinkers with OHR only during spring or summer time - then the feedback will be better

@halajos Yes. It’s in the service centre, but it has sat in “In Repair” status for over 6 weeks

@galerna it is not Garmin. There is no countdown in recovery time as well. Here you get a recovery time for each activity and you can add it yourself - or take a calculator Why remove it? You can just ignore it, if it isn’t useful for you. Others might find it useful the way it is…

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen Yes that’s it, thanks a lot! I thought it worked just like my Garmin HRM Dual, which can broadcast its signal to both the Wahoo and the Suunto Race at the same time, but that’s not the case here. I’ll just use the Wahoo for my indoor sessions and then upload the fit file to the Suunto app afterwards. Thanks again and happy holidays!

@OutdoorMan i’m to lazy to keep pressing snooze each 10 minutes Anyway, there are other uses. I use it to remember me to take my medication, sometimes I know I will only be home in an hour. When that happens I dismiss the alarm. I don’t want to snooze each 10 minutes for one hour…
