@burrowsnp I agree about the brightness. Sleep mode needs to be scaled down a bit. When it’s not in sleep mode and it’s dark in the room or outside, it scales up rather than down (maybe an issue with the ambient light sensor in that environment). I didn’t see the same issues with the HRM though. Could be related to the ZoneSense issue - I haven’t used ZoneSense yet myself, so I hope it gets fixed as it seems quite useful! I disable wrist HR for runs when I use an external HRM (using the Garmin HRM Pro and sometimes the COROS HRM). The problem I’m having is we’re all waiting on an update from our friends at Suunto as to whether these are known issues that will be addressed in a software update, or will some of these be blown past and have us wait for two or three more release cycles. Garmin watches have similar issues and it’s sometimes upwards of a year before they get all the bugs out. I’m testing the new Coros watch as well and it’s basically bug free right out of the gate. Not to mention when you engage in their forum, the team actually responds (and often times it’s the CEO himself). The watch has a ton of potential - just a few hot fixes needed soon. Would be a good idea for Suunto to reach out to some of us passionate users to beta test devices before public release so these can ironed out.

@lessthanmore I cannot speak for Runna, I don’t use it but for TP as the OP asked is working.

@peegee Why don’t you simply zoom out by rotating the crown? That should be easier than panning the map around, especially when moving fast I know that may be a rhetorical question because trails disappear from the map when zooming out, so the question is more towards the Suunto team.

@Tomas5 Yes, I think its an undocumented feature. Found the function it by accident in direct sun, easy to reproduce if you try. Takes about 1-3 seconds to adapt on my Race S. Not much slower then raise to wake

@Egika Yes, the OHR LED is still flashing, I can even see the HR on the graph in the Suunto App during the night [image: 1757491107519-screenshot_20250910-095321.png]

Thank you @VoiGAS for emphasizing the tightness once more. Looks like I have to wear it even tighter than my old Polar M430. Today it worked just fine.

I read it as you can change them on the watch and synchronize with the app, or?

@krzyśMac Hey, at the moment Resources do not match the phone app, it’s apparently a bug. In my experience sleep tracking was a bit better with Race 1, in my case Race 2 doesn’t recognise waking times (when I go to the toiled during night i.e.), it doesn’t show. The graph you are asking about is fixed, you cannot change it at the moment. Other than that it’s a pretty good watch, just not that advanced compared to Race S/Race 1 at this time. Of course, compared to Race S the display is huge. And I think more features come in the future, but right now I wouldn’t see a reason to upgrade, other than the display.

I would return it, it looks like a manufacturing problem.

I got the Race 2 yesterday , and I’m glad I chose the grey color. Nevertheless, it would be great if Suunto offered more colors in the future.

@Neil-McElroy I can confirm that if I import a GPX it does show elevation if this is in the original file. I’m also UK based but have never used the OS site. I normally use Kamoot. I wonder if it is something in the code, years ago I had a Garmin Etrex with a barometer. I had to edit the code whenever I uploaded the GPX to Strava (or anywhere else) otherwise no elevation showed. I can’t remember the exact field I had to change it could possibly be something like this? If you don’t know, you can open the GPX in a plain text editor and see the data. It should say what created the file.
