@brad_olwin is there a trick to do a repetition based workouts? E.g. 10 pushups, than 15 sit-ups, etc.
This is a bit harder, I would in TP set up a structured workout, figure out how long it will take to do 10 pushups then label the interval as 10 pushups and just use duration as your set, then a minute rest (or whatever and then label the next 15 sit ups (again set the duration of the interval for the time you need). It might look like the set below. This will be some work to set up in TP so this is one I would save in TP as a workout so you can easily add it anytime. The titles for the intervals will show in the watch.
-
@brad_olwin and you can overestimate how long does it take, and use the lap button to move to next step.
-
@isazi Did you try this? because for me that’s doesn’t works…
-
@frederick-rochette yes I did. You need to check the “End step on lap button” in TP, and the step has to be longer than you expect it to be (in time or distance).
-
Is there a way to add a non timed interval, for example 3x chest press and to end each repetition with lap button?
-
@isazi I used Nolio…
also the display of the interval number is not correct
For this test I was 1/4 (for interval) then 2/4 (recovery) then 1/4 then 2/4 etc…
It should have been 1/4 (for interval) then 1/4 (recovery) then 2/4 (for interval) then 2/4 (recovery)
The last, i set a screen on my watch with the remaining duration of the interval, the interval number, the distance, etc… it no longer works.
-
@frederick-rochette I’ve never used Nolio, so I do not know how that works.
-
@frederick-rochette report that to nolio, they send the steps
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos did it!

Is anyone experiencing that TP workouts are not moving at all? e.g. for the below, neither pressing the lap to advance (just does normal lap) or letting the 4 mins from warm-up go off is moving to step 2, funny, it was working yesterday though , thanks
-
@herlas Yeah that happened to me yesterday. I had to delete the workout from TP and recreated it. When it sent back over to the watch it worked fine. Not sure if that was a one time thing or a possible glitch that could keep happening.
-
@herlas just tried it, works exactly as expected. If toggle the manual switch in TP, then by pressing the lap button, the workout will move to the next phase. But the toggle must be on.
-
@markytarky That’s correct, but I had a workout that had all of the tabs selected and it wasn’t working on the watch. I had to recreate the workout in TP to get it working correctly.
-
@tyresej4 understand, pls monitor if that will happen again and if so let me know. I can report it.
-
In my case it’s not moving to step 2 at all, neither after the time is up from step 1 or by pressing the lap button which is enabled in TP, will recreate the workout, but definitely something I am missing or as you guys said, minor glitch somewhere.

Hi!
can someone update the new firmware (S9 non baro) to the firmware list post in order to force it on the watch.
Thanks in advance!

Hey.
Today I wanted to test Structural workout.
I created new one with TP. It was synchronized with the suunto app and the watch itself (s9p) .
I started my run (saw Structural workout name at the begin ) … and i saw new watch face with SW run.
I created SW (8km warm-up / 6x 100m/100m / 3km cooling down) . After ~ 4km i wanted to turn on backlight (middle button / settings/ backlight on ) … after that my SW watch face disappeard . I was hope that maybe after warm-up something could changed but it looks like SW crashed
First impression - not cool
Should I send a logs from the app ?
s9p 2.20.28 / iOS 2.12.0 (9617) -
@greku I haven’t experienced a crash, but the watch has become more laggy; especially when you activate intervals. I suspect this will get better over time. I agree with DC Rainmakers assessment that this is a really good first try. Not perfect, but it’ll get better.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Is some kind “Workout Builder” is planned to be implemented in Suunto App directly. It would be the best solution if someone do not want to create account on 3rd party services like TP, Intervals.icu or Nolio. -

The current idea is to allow third parties to push the workouts. Simple intervals and targets can be configured on the watch.
