        @freeheeler You’re right. Suunto updates are always a valid reason 😄

          It doesn’t change my life in any significant way, but I’ve noticed that prior to this version when receiving notifications from various apps, the watch displayed “…” in place of Unicode characters, and now it displays empty character instead (square).

            @łukasz-szmigiel yes.
            This is the change listed and intended:
            “Default missing character to a box glyph”

            The reason were mainly Chinese characters missing from the character set.

              @egika ok, haven’t noticed it. I thought it’s a bug, as “…” seems more elegant than a box 😉

                Looks like the update has fixed the issue of battery drain when the watch is not in use (for S9P)

                  yeah - there have been no changes regarding this. But it still could be a calibration and/or reset thing… Suunto is looking into this.

                    Hi!

                    Please can anyone upload this new fix in order to force it on the watch (S9 non baro).

                    Thanks in advance!

                          @łukasz-szmigiel well I was surprised with this too. Every time i saw 3 dots it was like, ok there was some characters skipped for some reason. But now when I see square it looks like “we forget to implement something”.

                            It would be nice to have alerts for the target field (race pace or HR)
                            Is it planned to incorporate this?

                              @auxina it has been requested and Suunto is well aware of this. I cannot promise anything though, I can only say that they know 🙂

                                @dimitrios-kanellopoulos is there a link to the Zip file where to download the firmware for manual update?

                                Thanks in advance

                                  SV: fingers crossed :D
                                  S9 (non-baro): died after 2 months, replaced, holding strong since 03/20
                                  Spartan Trainer: casing broke after 23 months, repaired, lost watertightness 5 months later, died
                                  Despite some pretty bad luck, I still love Suunto!
