Software update 2.23.20 (All S watches except S9 Peak Pro)
-
@Djordje-S I had problems in step counting wearing the S9P in left wrist when walking with last firmware, always 10-15% less steps than wearing in right wrist.
I think the problem is still there.

@freeheeler ok thanks. (have edited my post…was thinking “soft” but wrote "hard) :
EDIT : soft reset worked, no more issue.
After few days : just after I do a soft reset, it works…and then it doesn’t…
So, still have issue : can’t use Suunto apps
Any idea ? ( I certainly won’t make a hard reset ; prefer not using Suunto apps than loosing all setting and personal sports modes ! ) -
@Tieutieu
the apps you want are bookmarked in myapps and pinned to watch? you sync and don’t see it/them in your activity start screen?
I would try logout and in again from Suunto App as a next step -

I would try logout and in again from Suunto App as a next stepTried almost everything including your call.
Just after the resets I can select the apps…but few times after I can’t anymore. I see them in the options of the watch, but when I choses my app and then press the middle button to select, it goes back to the option screen with « no app » display instead of displaying app name…
Will wait for the next update to be fixed I hope -
@Tieutieu
waiting for the next update might take some time and I haven’t heard of S+ apps stop working.
I recommend to send logs, I’ve pm you about it. -

Hello ! Not solved, can’t use Climb App for now…not a big deal, hope next update will solve the issue.
I have seen comments relating same bug but with other apps.
I have send logs to suunto (thanks @freeheeler for help ) -
@Tieutieu I kinda had the same and it needed me to reboot the watch

Hi
Since the update I have noticed in my S9 Peak:- Much higher speed & responsiveness, not only starting an exercise but also in general usage of the watch
- Raise to wake much more useful and sensitive.
- Better filtering of steps in daily usage + more accurate results during walk only activities. Previously I had too low steps measures while walking (for example 5 km walking but only 4000 steps). Still a little bit lower than my Galaxy Watch 5 but I think now it is pretty close to reality
- Battery lasts longer. I guess around 20%-25%, especially when using 24/7 monitoring
- When using Wrist HR, sometimes the watch got lost for a long time, especially if not fitted 3-4 cm over the wrist bone (in my case) showing very low HR figures. Now, if it get lost, figures are higher and the time “lost” is shorter.
Some users said improvements in Autolight but for me it seems to be the same. Only that now Raise to wake is much more effective…What kind of improvement are you experimenting?
Very happy with the update. My only desires, bold fonts & increase readability + improvement in the navigation turn by turn with icons as in S9 PP and that will be close to perfection!

@isazi Some news about S+ STRYD app?
-
And Strava Live Segments ?
-
We were hyped by the possibility to have new S+ apps at any time, outside of firmware releases but so far, there haven’t been any new apps … so …
-
@taziden wdym, there are a lot of new s+ apps in the latest beta. Well, in fact, since 3 month i think.
-
@DMytro nothing new in the store since the store has been introduced
-
@taziden well, ok, this is not quite true either. Weren’t activelook and core apps ‘activated’ quite recently?
I think we’ll get some new stuff soon enough, possibly tied to the firmware update.
In addition, I bet suunto is now slighltly more focused on bringing the training hub to life. -

“possibly tied to the firmware update”. One of the main argument about the new Store was that we wouldn’t have to wait for new fw release to have new apps.
I might be wrong but for me ActiveLook and Core were there since the beginning or not much after.
I’m not saying Suunto should hastily release more stuff but it’s a bit disappointing not seeing the store more active as the takeaway message when it was introduced was “yeah, we won’t have to wait 3 or 6 months to have new stuff now!”. Indeed, stuff can pop up at any time. That doesn’t mean it will pop up more often.
I guess that’s a consequence of the lack of a public roadmap from Suunto. Sometimes we get our hopes up and are disappointed. Not necessarily Suunto’s entire fault but it still happens nonetheless. -
Race time S+ app is there now, not sure when it was made available, just noticed today
-
@Frederick-Rochette I don’t know, I see it is still being tested.
-
@Mi_chael finally back to testing after the developers fixed some issues.
