speculations and rumours about upcoming Suunto watches

@Richard-Thygesen if I had a magic wand, I’d ask for better screen brightness, and running power.
The ultimate watch for me would be the body and features of Peak Pro, with an AMOLED screen…
-
Really enjoyed reading all the excitement and thoughts here… I can’t wait until the 9th of May also

-
@MarcW 9 or 10?
-
Get the feeling Marc is toying with us.
-
@altcmd May 9th @10:00

-
@Ketoohs right! For some reason I thought it was 10 May at 10 CET.
-
@altcmd Got my business calendar set to do-not-disturb, so no one dares to call a meeting then…

-
@Ketoohs lol. Same here. Super busy at 11am in Helsinki

It seems that after some questioning, we have all adopted the size of the S9P. I think the size of the SUUNTO Vertical will be 50mm but I could be wrong… so it will be much bigger than the S9P but that seems necessary to have a good navigation. I hope it will be very light though with a bigger (internal) screen size and with better definition, maybe AMOLED. Apart from what is already present in the S9PP and navigation, I would like the following features: full sleep and recovery tracking / HRV test, fitness test / multiple S+ at the same time / NGP as data field / internal music / NFC
And above all a nice titanium watch that doesn’t scratch…
Will see! -
@Frederick-Rochette not everybody adopted the S9p size.I did not, even if I do like its small weight and confort ; and totally understand those who like it ! My wife has it, she loves it ! Regarding what we will probably get next week, hard to imagine maps on a small screen ! Size should also enable much better battery capacity.
-
@MarcW looking forward your video review

The smaller size is one of the reasons why I never bought the S9P or S9PP, probably why I’m so eager for this new model to drop

Could it be us? No idea to be honest, but maybe

@isazi I’d say most likely

-
From what I have read thanks to @Highlands, next model will definitively be a big step further !
If it is confirmed, I will buy it without any hesitation !
-
I have just recently switched from S9B to S9PP, but can’t wait for the new watch. I am actually considering keeping both … and yes, my girlfriend already thinks I am crazy.
-
@tomasbartko I am giving my 9P to my girlfriend when the new one arrives, to calm her down

-
@tomasbartko I already asked my girlfriend “permission” to buy a new watch, if Suunto releases one

-
@tomasbartko

new watch is not up to discussion… the rule is simple: if “Suunto and new and big” then: buy
-
@freeheeler I thought it was more like: if Suunto, then buy
