Software Firmware Update Suunto Vertical?!

I don’t see major bugs on Vertical. Never crashed, never restarted, battery is amazing, maps also.

@Luís-Pinto this actually really make me wonder. I have no doubt some of you never encountered issue,but on the other hand,some also do encounter very fatal issue . I wonder if there is a hardware batch affected or just software?

@Kk2n-Kk i’m honest. Never experienced mandatory faults. Just personal experience.

@Kk2n-Kk To be honest, I’m waiting for my watch to reboot with every activity that I record and so far nothing happened.
The only bug I have/ had is when zooming out on the map there are some black tiles for appr. 1 second.
I do not use any S+ apps though. -
@Luís-Pinto don’t worry. I believe you are honest. I start to think that it is like there are really bad batch out there … and with varying scenarios. Nick for example encountered issue with maps and reset, while my friend did not but my friend encountered regular restart

@lessthanmore now, my friend on the other hand, never encountered single issue with maps. However though, the restart was another problem

Not sure what you call “mandatory faults”. If you mean forced reboots… I did experience those on Suunto during activities and when starting activities, going all the way back to S9B. Do they happen often? No. But they do happen. And in all cases but one (last weekend), the reboot also resulted in data loss.

@NickK Yes, for me major faults are restarts not wanted.

@NickK Same here. Never experienced any reboots in my S9B, S9P and SV.
Seems some kind of weird settings cocktail which triggers the reboots/crashes. -

@Egika I believe wishing for restart free watch is not a “wishing for feature”. And if not this forum, then where to feedback the issue?

We get it. You don’t own a Vertical but you have heard from friends and retailers your anecdotal stories and wishes and dire warnings. Guess we can move on now?

Suunto already has the same knowledge as you (and more in depth):Some Suunto Verticals can crash mid-activity.
This is being worked on.

Seriously, you’re just stating that someone had a crash but you cannot share any additional/ necessary information (setup, s+, etc.).
I never had a reboot with the SV nor my fenix 7sSS; however in the garmin forum there are also folks with reboots.
So, what are you trying to achieve? You write in every single thread that Suunto’s dead …
