Disable or change autolap during activity

Hi,
Is it possible to add a feature to deactivate or change the settings of the autolap feature AFTER the activity has been started?
Currently, one has to end the activity in order to change the autolap in “Settings” before the activity is started.
This is quite annoying if you forgot to change the settings.
