@seanvk The situation is not complicated, the Titanium version was a paper launch, not real. No one has managed to get a Titanium Race until now, maybe some samples in the US.

Perhaps Suunto was a bit surprised about the new Polar, and the release of SR was accelerated because they they didn‘t want to loose customers to Polar? And now, they have problems with the availability?

@SuperFlo75 Nope, launch was planned for that date already during summer, something must have gone wrong with production or shipment from China

@isazi do you know if suunto race will also available in other colours? I saw Pictures where the Titanium is in a purple colour named Amethyst, in steel version a blue colour named midnight, and a white Option named birch! Any infos If this is real or fake news?!

@SuperFlo75 and probably loose customer due to lack of communication. They must have known the Titanium version would be delayed, why not update availability date on website prior to launch?

Maybe next year there will be more colors, for now it’s black or titanium. -

If you would have the chance to buy the Suunto vertical solar version for the same price as the Suunto race. Which would you buy? Is it a no brainer or is the race the one you would nevertheless buy? Thanks

I placed an order for a Suunto Race yesterday. I’ve used the Suunto phone app for a couple of years but this is my first Suunto watch…in fact it’s my first ever GPS watch.
Very excited!
My only concern is that after 24 hours, I still haven’t received a confirmation email. Is this normal?
Thankfully I took a screenshot of my order number once the order had processed at the checkout.
