Left-hand wearer option

I’ve seen other brands do this, and am hopeful this wouldn’t be difficult to implement, but could we have an option of flipping the screen for us left-handers (who wear the watch on our right arms)? Would be nice to have easier access to buttons, particularly now we’re coming into winter and long-sleeves are a default on clothing?

• you posted in the Suunto App feature suggestion
• watch turned 180° means the baro sensor would be facing forward into the wind. I guess altitude accuracy would be affected.

@Steven-Limmer one adverse possible effect in flipping the watch :
It was mentioned in the recent podcast with a Suunto employee is that the GPS antenna design is made in a way that when the wearer have its arms on the side the GPS antennas will face “up”, if you flip the watch, the antennas will face downward and you will probably have worse GPS reception.

That was the case for some watches in the past (Suunto Ambit, Suunto 5). I don’t think it’s the case for the new ones (5 peak, 9, 9 peak, 9peak pro, vertical or race).

Hallo there,
well, while we are talking about left handers, I am one of them as well and I am as well wearing my watch on right hand. I am curious what is the experience of lefthanded people with SR and the rotating crown…? I am happy owner of S9B Ironman, but I like SR very much…only that rotating crown confuses me how it would work for ne. Just for fun. try that to catch that crown with you left hand while wearing watch on right hand…
On my mechanical watch, I need to put them off when I need to turn the crown.
Any real life experience of lefthanded with SR?

I wear different watches with rotatable crowns on the right wrist. A central (in the middle) positioned crown will scroll through the screens while different activities by itself. The contact to the skin or the clothes triggers the rotation.

Therefore I decided to buy the Vertical, because there are buttons and all the years with my Spartan Ultra (on the right wrist) I never had an interaction by the button itself.

left-handed owner of Suunto Race here, wearing it on the right arm. I’ve only had this watch for a couple months (summertime only, no long sleeves) hence had no issue (yet ?) with clothes.
So far, the only issue with the rotating crown is with my arm hair that gets into the crown, especially while exercising when I’m sweaty. I guess this is not specific to left-handed people, but since you were asking
