@danklod releasing on Friday is not recommended, as any issue with the update could not be taken care of during the weekend.

SW update on Friday sounds great. Finish work in the office a bit earlier, shut down the laptop, get a notification about update in the afternoon. Not a bad way to finish a week and start a weekend, like an extra free day.

However we called it SW update, basically it’s an OS update really.
Such a complex device like a watch with full of sensors, couldn’t be an easy task to test and optimize the code on it.
Until Suunto works out this, I do some workouts
And hope to get the update on Thursday -

In Germany we don‘t want Monday cars.
I actually expect Suunto devs to release FW updates on Friday 16:59 and then going on a three week ice fishing trip with huskies and sledges, knowing that the FW update just works.

@runomatic I know you were joking, but… I hadn’t used my Vertical in at least a month, charged it in preparation for an update today - and it still had 15% charge!
