Das liegt daran dass Suunto die Kooperation mit Firstbeat bzw die Firstbeat Algorithmen die vor dem Software Update auf der Uhr waren wohl in Gänze durch Suunto eigene Algorithmen getauscht hat. Mit der neuen Software entfällt somit die Anzeige der Erholungszeit da jetzt deine Erholung als HRV zb angezeigt wird. Finde ich persönlich gut aber es erfordert ein bisschen “umdenken”

After the update Vertical is showing 5-6 hours of sleep instead of actual 7-8 hours. Today I did a soft reset and I suddenly saw another sleep summary for 10+ hours. Now I have 6h in SA and 10h in the watch.

I had several reboots since yesterday.

I open a training - here treadmill - choose my options and decide to leave it completely with a long press on the middle button. Then the display jumps back to the display with the start button, then to the overview of all trainings and now not back to the watch face, but to settings. Settings is shown for some seconds, buttons don’t change anything and the Vertical reboots.

Happens not always, but five out of ten times.

Edit: Happened again at the moment. After the reboot I synced the Vertical with SA and sent the logs to Suunto.

I don’t know whether you looked at the Race or the Vertical, but I see a recovery time in the summary on the Vertical’s running mode.

@runomatic im on a Vertical. I can see the summary, but I’m looking for the recovery time after the exercise. There used to be a screen where you could see the remaining recovery time at any point.

@runomatic ja das schon sagte ich ja, aber es gibt diese Erholungszeit Anzeige nicht in einem Widget mehr auf der Race und nach dem Update auf der Vertical. Nach einer Aktivität ja, das war es aber auch schon.

Are now some Suunto+ apps automatically selected on certain sports? I went Trail running (Mountain) today and Climb app was selected despite I did not select it. I found out when auto lap was fired… las time I used this sport mode I certainly did not use it (last Saturday).

It is something I will miss greatly. I hope it is reimplemented soon.

Update complete and really happy with the changes - one small thing the log widget in the watch captures training across multiple weeks rather than just one week.

Soft reset doesn’t change it.

Any thoughts ?

@avn3r90 Weather’s ok, but sleep analysis is broken and VO2max plays hide and seek.

Nice new features, but old ones went bad. I wish I could downgrade.

I don’t know if this is related to black grid in maps or something else but last night battery went from 65% to 56%, I think battery drain used to be something like 2-3% per day and not like this.

Sleep analysis is still not on par with other watches.

Watchfaces??? I would have expected that a half year after the release of the Vertical, there would be a greater choice of Watchfaces. Really strange to see this.

The same for notifications, still the font is too small on the dark background. WhatsApp
messages just a few lines of the
message you can read…

I am happy with the great battery life and the maps of the Vertical, but for a watch of 550 euros I am a little disappointed all these problems are still not solved.
