Software Update 2.30.32

@surfboomerang is there a Option to save my own Sport Mode presets in some place? Export my sport modes? Something like this!? Will a Option come for this?
-
@GiPFELKiND No, it has been asked for years but it’s still not implemented

2.30.38? Bugfix?
Any clue on the technical/bug fixes of this update? I was looking for the release note but couldn’t find one
-
@RaDeck Here’s the 2.30.38 release notes!
-
@AnonVerticalOwner Thanks mate! I went looking on the Suunto release notes page, next time I’ll check the forum (didn’t cross my mind )
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel it should be back on watch once you sync it with the app (the first sync after the update). Mine disappeared too but they were back after sync.
-
@false odd, I’ve 4 customizations and are still there. may it depend on the type of activity ?
sidenote I am glad that Suunto promptly releases the patches, I hope things are easier for you guys to handle now. -
@misu763 it’s gone. Lost. Forever.

And again - all custom sport modes were deleted except one.
just for the info - it were custom modes for (road) running
Only one has left - the one which was used the last -

@surfboomerang BTW why we can not save Sport modes IN THE SUUNTO APP?!
Totally agree. It’s gonna be a killer feature!

This is unusual and unfortunate. Those of us fieldtesting have very frequent updates. I have not lost my custom sport modes in a long time. How old were the sport modes? Did anything unusual happen during the update?
-
@Brad_Olwin no, nothing suspicious in my case. Everything else works fine.
It seems that the older ones were removed. Older meaning the ones that were not used recently. Now I’m left with only two recent ones - running and walking.

So guys, after last update (small bug fix) my watch doesn’t go to sleep mode as more users already reported after BIG update. Until this small “fix” my watch except known widget synchronization issue worked almost perfectly (forget the bubbles on the sensor for now).
Now, when I lay the watch anywhere it continously flashes and display newer went off. It is definitely a bug. Surface is not important, I’m sure, that watch are supposed to spot the difference between skin and table… Or? Accelerometer doesn’t give the watch info it is absolutely still?. Before last update this was OK. So for me this “fix” didn’t repair any problem but brought some…
Bit frustrated.
BTW my sport modes are in the watch as before - nothing changed. Are there different versions of the hardware? We are facing different behavior.
-
@AntoniusGaius Try a soft reset. The display on mine will dim but does not completely turn off. My HR is not flashing when placed on a table. if I bump the table the HR does turn on. Make sure the vibrations are not sufficient to trigger the HR.
-
@Brad_Olwin Hi Brad, performed. Nothing changed. Before this update the sensor went off instantly after laid on the different surface bud skin and left still. The same behavior I have on my Ambit 3 Peak. Until some impuls come watch is in sleep mode.
After soft reset watch shows 0:00 weekly training time on watchface. That’s new one

These sport modes were as old as the last software update.
So literally my situation is like this - early in autumn I got a bug which made me unable to see and edit sport modes in the app. I performed hard reset in the middle of November after reset I was finally able to edit the modes. In a few weeks I’ve installed 2.30.32 which deleted all the modes except the last used. The subsequent hot fix update removed all the modes again except the latest one I reported some bugs earlier in this thread and looks like only one was fixed (about total training time count on one of the watch faces).Today I took my watch for a training and again -16% of battery after lying in a desk for two days and moreover…all suunto apps installed on the watch are gone (after installing hotfix update on Monday). Disappointed.
Those of us fieldtesting have very frequent updates
Watching how many bugs we found in this thread I can say - we are all field testers here and I feel very bad about it

I reported it earlier and thought that the last hotfix updated fixed it until I saw your message
-
@false After going to log book widget and then back to watchface this field is actualized with correct data. Will see after morning training tomorrow if it refreshes automatically.

No clue if it is a bug or not, but…I tried to sync my 9PP with iPad too (it is already synced with phone and it works good!) with no results…iPad doesn’t see my 9PP. I searched for some info around but I can’t find anything. My doubt is that the 9PP stay connected with only one device at a time, no matter if the app is installed on two devices…am I doing some wrong? Thank you in advance for your time and help.
