    Newest update seems to fix the black grid issue or at least my case, very nice!

      @vpet_09 Just updated my SV, and my local “black magic” spot doesn’t crashes my watch anymore!

        🙏 nice surprise and update! Map is visible in all zoom-levels, watch seems to react significantly faster, too.

        using a Suunto Vertical & Suunto Wings; mostly running (AKA stomping around) and cycling mostly through the northern german "wilderness"

          I have this exact problem now where I live 😞
          Sweden, Västra Götaland County
          (other regions seem to work)

              The same for me for the same region. I was in contact with a support agent today that recommended me to send back the watch. Is this the solution or will the map be fixed/updated?

                @Mats-Persson I would certainly not send my watch back if this is the only issue you have….

                There is lot of chance that it fille be fixed, but it could take time to come.

                      Thanks! I see it, and will try it soon. I also got weird suggestions from customer support and then sending the watch for repair (when other regions work well) 😞

                        @Mats-Persson @Henrik-Jacobsson forgot to say, after map update you may need to restart your watch - otherwise it may have old map cached in memory

                            @Antoine you don’t need to, the cache will go away eventually, but in cases update is supposed to fix something it’s better to do soft reset to be sure you see updated version (e.g. go settings -> general -> power off, then power on by pressing upper button)

                              @pavel-samokha Many thanks for your support and solution to the problem! 🙂

                              There was indeed a notification in the maps section and the map now works fine after I deleted the old one and downloaded the new one and did a soft reset (power off/on).

                              Perhaps good to educate customer support not to tell people to send back watches when the problem is only map related and can be fixed remotely!

                                @pavel-samokha For my SV I noticed a increased battery consumption after downloading new maps or updating maps… for example from 100% to 10% in about 3 weeks, and normally it goes from 100% to 10% in 4 weeks… but I also noticed a normal behavior when doing a soft reset after charging and downloading maps… can you explain this behavior?

                                        First of all. How you download the maps? Is the watch connected to wifi and in the charger? Do you see the message in the screen that the maps are being downloaded and you wait till they are downloaded, depending on the area it could take pretty long time.

                                        When you check them are you sure that you are in the downloaded area?

                                          @Raymond-Wang where are you based (coords) and which map did you download to the watch?
