    In the latest firmware there is a ruler implemented for measuring the distance on the map from your location to a point. Nice feature!
    Now it only shows the distance, but I think it would be great if it shows a direction in degrees too.

      @surfboomerang

      And if the menu could offer “Use Bearing Navigation” with those details or, perhaps even create a projected POI for the end point …

        @Fenr1r And finally, the option to access the compass without turning off the gpx route.

          with all those good ideas, could we imagine that Suunto has the same and this map ruler is just the premices of more advanced feature cooking ?
          no expectation, just thinking loud 😉

            @Mff73 I have been asking (in many different places) about access to the compass without turning off navigation according to the gpx route for years and there are no changes.
            This is basically unimaginable in an outdoor watch, but Suunto is stubborn and knows better. I suspect this is the only brand that does not have such an obvious option.

            So without being overly optimistic 😉

              @Fenr1r
              Hello I think we are perfectly aligned see my post here
              https://forum.suunto.com/topic/11310/valuate-the-x-on-the-map-and-offer-the-possibility-to-save-it-as-a-poi-or-to-go-to-it-in-bearing-mode/2?_=1722932936286

              Suunto offer us the possibility from the Map to point a X with its distance and its direction so very few effort now to offer us the possibility to have a bearing direction to this point

              If you are aligned please vote for my post may be suunto will considere this
