Setting

I’ve been looking for a while but can’t find the right button.

1. Sounds: I’ve turned off the sounds and set them to vibrate, but there’s still a sound when I get a call or a message? How can I turn it off?

2. Brightness: I want the watch to turn off the display and only turn it on when I turn my wrist. Where can I find this setting?

I hope someone can give me a tip on this.

1. Hold middle button or just go options-> General -> Sounds

First option of sounds choose Turn all off - You won’t hear anything
Second otpion is vibration - i got it ON, no sounds, only small bzzzz on Your wrist
Thrid option is alarm, You can set vibration, alarm sound or both.

If You still got sounds, maybe try soft reset - Hold Middle button or go options -> General -> Scroll to end of list to turn off Your watch, to turn on, hold upper button like 12s.

2. Hold middle button or just go options-> General -> Display

First option here is actually brightness of Your menu for example, set what u like.
Second option it makes Your screen always on display. Set it for NO (If u want only when move Your wrist)
Thrid option here is wake up, set light or high, depends how much intense brightness should be when You turn wrist. choosing turn off will actually disable “turn it on when turn wrist”

@brabirl Suunto Vertical has a super low power MIP display that is always on. You can setup the cases, under which the background illumination comes on.
The display itself only goes fully off when the watch is not worn or switched off.
