@Tami999 there is orange with white label.
It just says “Mammut” on it -
@Egika but this one is quite expensive…but that’s fair enought, you get a free watch when you buy it

It just says “Mammut” on itYes I know about it, and love it. I’ve been searching for this strap to be sold separately since I already have Vertical but with no results. And i dont need second watch Wosh to have it. Athletic 5 yellow/white is muvh more comfortable (mammut seems like same type) but orange is my fav.

@Tami999 just get it with the watch and sell the watch with you current strap

Yeah I thought about it but dont want to freeze my money and play in selling this
-
@fluca I second that…I love the logical and uncomplicated but useful SR feature set, that’s one reason I moved away from Garmin Forerunners. For my use, SR has almost everything I need and very little that I don’t.

So the wife came good & got me a white Athletic 5 strap however there aren’t as many adjustment holes as the original strap so as @Tieutieu found it’s either a little too loose or a little too tight for me.
Can anyone who has one advise whether it ‘stretches’ a bit over time if I continue to wear it in the too tight hole or will my hand fall off due to restricted blood flow ?
-
@Mattg576 they probably stretch a bit with time, I would actually try to wear it comfortably during the day, and tighter during activity, and see how it goes
-
@Mattg576 Only way is loose strap + get it higher or tight and wear it lower. :D.
I noticed that Athletic 5 is much softer for skin than original SV, even over time, but SV original one is much easier to find good spot on hand. -
@Mattg576
I’ve used an Athletic 5 strap for about 5 months and it doesn’t seem to have stretched. Like you, I find it’s either a bit loose or a bit tight. I wear it in the tighter hole because I don’t like the watch bouncing around and don’t notice after a short while.
The best Suunto strap I’ve had for comfort, hole spacing and stretch was the Athletic 1 that came with the 9 Peak. But it’s only available in relatively subtle colours, pink excepted. -
@MKPotts Thanks for that, I’ve also been going with the tighter hole & as yet my hand hasn’t fallen off. I’ve started doing wrist rotations with dumbbells to try & bulk up to the next hole LOL
TBH I found the original Race strap really comfortable & could adjust it perfectly for my wrist (just a bit boring in plain black).
