Hi everyone, lately my vertical’s battery drops for no reason. I only use the watch for training, sometimes I find -20% less leaving it in the drawer, everything deactivated, latest firmware installed 2.35.34. I noticed this problem after installing firmware 2.33.14 already done soft reset 2 times. example: Saturday end of training 86%, Sunday without any type of use 64%, in one day 22%!!! it’s not normal

      Suunto Vertical Black Lime (2023)

@Egika soft reset, I.e. a restart did not help. I will try to drain it out and then charge again. Let’s see.

current battery drain is roughly 1% per hour without use.

soft reboot (stop and start the watch basically) didnt work for me.

i had to reset the watch, you need at least 40% of battery, and it takes 10 minutes to do.

than youll have to set all the parameters into the watch again (like it was brand new from the store)
youll loose your maps installed etc…

check your display setting: britness to law or medium, standby to off, raise to wake to low or off for me.

it did work for me. ill have to diagnose the watch after several days, but at least in the last 14 hours, i have only lost 1% with a 40 minutes activity gps tracking, seems ok to me now!

In 10 days without any activities…all daily gimmicks off - backlight off - wifi/Bluetooth off etc.

Ill try a soft reset and one or two 0-100% charge to recalibrate software battery after Q2

Next step but i want to avoid hard reset.

is it possible that the (in connectivity in the watch)
wireless network and discovery options.could impact the battery drainage?

Once i have downloaded my offline maps, i have set to off the wifi and turn off the discovery, as my watch is already paired with my phone.

I will test and let you know. i am saying that, is that as soon I have reactivate the wifi from the app to the watch, i noticed the battery being drained again 4% a day or even more. I should be more around 1-2% a day.

Hi, from the last update I have seen the some problem.

Two day ago I have charged at 100% my SV and at the some time at the next day (24 h with night monitoring) my SV was at 90%: 10% off in one day without any sport activity 🙄 🙄 🙄

Yesterday I have made soft reset … I let you know about evolution.

I think after soft reset and a full charge cycle i have better results.

Following the topic. No problems on my SR after the update but a friend of mine with SV does have some battery drain after updating. What should I advise him? He already did the reboot by holding the upper button, switching off the pulseOX, brightness on low etc. Still draining more than he was used to see prior the update.
