@Gorm-Breinholm I contacted support immediately after taking the watch out of the box. I waited maybe 1 minute in the queue and the contact was professional and friendly.

I told the guy, that I think that my watch is faulty, that I am not satisfied with my purchasement and I want to return it. They forwarded me to a website where I could create the return label without asking more questions. They already refunded the money.

The only problem was, that at this time, this website would not let me create the return label due to a technical issue. It worked 24 hours later.

This was the first time I returned/replaced a Suunto watch.

          Hello everyone.
I enjoyed my Suunto Race S almost one week. In fourth day first time I seen on screen information “The device is being restored to a safe state” and after few minutes “Error 1403” then smartwatch reset all settings. Next day the same situation. Since yesterday this situation happening a few times per day, I can not using my smartwatch. Anybody got the same problem or any experience with this kind of situation?

@isazi At least you got one … I tried the waiting list 5 times and always was I in reach of a computer to order when in stock, every time I missed.
I was looking foreward to the Rs and I wanted to try one but I totally lost interest in the way it takes too long to deliver so I bought a Garmin. I don’t get why you are releasing a product and you don’t have stock. I understand that can happen due to the succes of a product, but not 5 times in a row.

If buying a watch is like tickets for Adele, it’s ok for me.

@isazi Apple, being annoying. On the AW, you can select which apps, but on iOS, I believe the only option for a non-AW is to echo every notification on the Lock Screen, ignoring grouping or phone DND.

@Ze-Stuart I believe that was the case in the past, but I heard Garmin and Coros allow you to select apps for notifications also in iOS, so something may have changed.

@isazi I’d be happy to be wrong about that limitation!

@EzioAuditore Wanted to add that REST doesn’t happen only during sleep. It can happen throughout the day while in rest mode. So that might be another reason why measuring HRV during the day is useful.

                              How about data privacy?
Is the captured data stored on European servers and does it stay theree? Or is is transferred to Chinese servers?
Which 3rd party companies have access to this data?

                              Thx for the feedback…

Yes, rest can happen during the day, but there are too many other stressors that affect HRV. Interpreting HRV as a value throughout the day involves just way too many variables and is complicated (currently impossible). If you look into literature, currently agreed on as the best method to determine recovery with HRV is one measurement early in the morning in always the same position. This should eliminate as much variables as possible and allow at least some (!) interpretation. Suuntos approach is close to that.

Garmin calculating it all day long doesn’t mean that it always provides useful insights 🙂

Hi, on my SRs I have that problem witch sleep 🛌 and nap 😴 detection. On this night it’s second time that my sleep is a long time nap 💤.
Before every thing was fine, what have change?

Orange color is a Nap. Purple is a sleep.

Hi, first question here. I have Race S and was wondering should crown be really easy to turn, as in apple watch for example or stiffer? It’s guitar stiff to turn with finger, it turns but I would wish it was easier.
